Re: Is 10+2 necessary to apply for Indian Air Force wing of CDS?

No , it is not necessary to have passed 12th to give the CDS exam.

The basic criterion for CDS exam is-

1.You should be an Indian citizen.

2.Your age should be in the age group of 19 to 24 years.

3.You should have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institute.

So , If you have a graduate degree then you can apply for the exam.your performance in 12th or in Diploma is not been considered.

You can even give the SSC(Technical) exam on the basis of your Diploma degree.

    GOOD LUCK

No dear if you have diploma then they will consider your diploma as a 12 class and as you have mention that you have done

your engineering so for CDS they will consider your graduation they does not matter about your +2 so you can apply for the

CDS and for flying branch you must have 60% marks in B.tech or in BE.

Re: Is 10+2 necessary to apply for Indian Air Force wing of CDS?

    Hello

Let me tell you something about Diploma and 10+2.Both Diploma and 10+2 are same and equivalent.
Both are considered to be equal.

There is no difference between them.In fact let me tell you that Diploma is considered superior to 10+2 at some places.
You can understand from the fact that 10+2 is a two year course where as Diploma is three year course, you must have understand why Diploma has superiority over 10+2.

Educational qualification required for Diploma is 10 pass and educational qualification required for 10+2 is also class 10.
In fact one have to appear for a entrance to get a seat in Diploma even after completing 10.But that is not the case with 10+2.

Hence no worry at all you are very much eligible for CDSE.
