    Hi

Congratulation for selecting in the shortlist of the candidates in Indian Navy.

I want to tell you that in the SSB interview there is no checking of your physical standard.

They will check your intelligence only.

Your physical standard will be checked in the Medical test which is taken after clearing the SSB interview.

You must be physically as well as mentally fit during the medical test.

Your Eye Sight should be according to the given table.

Friend, please note that there is no any eye test in SSB Interview process. As SSB is a five days long process in which candidate has to undergo series of test in order to examine/judge the inherent qualities and mental intelligence of the candidates. As far as your eye sight is concerned, the degree of myopic defects in your both eyes are within the permissible limits. As permissible limit set for myopia is 3.5 D only. In this way, you are fully eligible for joining defence forces. So please do not bother about it. Keep preparing for the SSB Exam process. Best of luck.

Re: Acceptable range of Myopia in Indian Navy? Whether should I appear for SSB or not?

The acceptable range for the candidate suffering from myopia is from -4.00D to +4.00D for
    technical services.

For non techanicasl services there is no problem for the myopia candidates.

if you have cleared the exam and called for the SSB then you must go for that.
If you cleared the SSB interview then your about 75 % work will be conducted and other work will be completed when you passed the medical test.

So do not worry and look for the better future.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
It is nice that you will be selected for shortlisted for SSB Interview.

SSB Interview is the best Interview Through your Career.

As you know that to join Indian navy, you have to clear Interview and Medical and Physical test.

Maximum acceptable vision for Indian navy is -0.75 in both eyes..

Presently you are not fit to go to navy, but you are fit for Indian army where maximum acceptable vision is -2.5.

Since, you are nearly fit to go to Indian navy so I suggest you to some yoga to lower the power of one of your eye.

    Best of Luck...........................
