Indian Air Force is a top level defence sector service in India and career in this field is high as compare of all other field in Defence.Through the major activities in the flying specialised aircraft field. You can also apply for other duties like Aeronautical,Electronics Computer Engineering and Civil Engineering

There are basically three branches to join in the Indian Air Force as a officer which are flying branch are responsible for flying and controlling fighter aircraft. It also consist the pilot which help the advance avionic equipment.

Officer in the ground duties provide educational, logistic and administrative support and officer in the technical branch are responsible for all technical and engineering aspects.

If you are interested in Flying branch then 10+2 and graduate candidates are eligible to join Indian Air Force but in case of Technical branch only bachelor degree in engineering candidates are eligible.Selection in all three branches are quit difficult. It involves written test, practice test and pyschological tests.

After clearing all test then some changes to get into Indian Air Force department. If you belonging to mechanical branch then required to attempt technical branch and Indian Air Force provide excellent opportunities for mechanical stream candidates.

For more information regarding technical branch, ground duty and Flying branch so,that you need to visit official website of Indian Air Force after clearing mechanical engineering degree.
