    Dear Candidate,

Since you have myopia within the limits then you have no problem in attending the interview.

Because the doctors at the NDA are allowed to test you only after the Written exam conducted for a certain post in the NDA.

So after qualifying the written exam only you will be test for physical and medical test for checking your stability and any diseases.

This whole procedure is made to secure your colleagues if you have any diseases which can spread. So if you fail in these tests then you are not eligible for the exam.

    General Visual Standards:

    Without Glasses Eyesight:

    6/6 and 6/9

    With Glasses:

    6/6 and 6/6

If any more error in eye can be correct to the above figure but not with the lasik surgey.

    Note:

If you have undergone a Lasik surgery then am sorry to say that you are disqualified for any post in the NDA.

    Hope this info helps you.

All the best for your future endeavor's.

Friend, please note that it is one of the mandatory requirement of having 6/6 vision in good eye and 6/9 in worse eye. If any candidate have defect in vision beyond the 6/9 limit are not permitted. If any candidate have 6/12 vision, he will be disqualified at once in physical & medical test. In your case, the myopic defect in vision of your eyes are marginally exceeding than 6/9. Then you may go for eye-sight improving exercises, certain yogic postures and pranayam. With the help of these exercises, there may be chances of improvement in eye sight which ultimately make you medically eligible for NDA Examination.
