    Am I eligible to apply for TGC in Indian Army having completed Integrated M.S.(Software Engineering) course being a 23 years of age?

    Sir,
    i have studied five year integrated course M.S Software Engineering from VIT university. It Is a direct PG and has all the syllabus similar and even more compared to B TECH IT/CSE. I am interested in joining indian army so i am preparing to apply for TGC. I have PCM in my 12th grade. Can somebody help me whether i can appply for TGC or if not what is the other entry scheme i can try with? my age is 23 running. Please guide me an approach. Thank You.

    Yes you can apply for the TGC army as you have completed the engineering from a recognised university.

    Your age is also under 28 years of age as the age requirement for the same is less than 28 years not more than that.
    You must be a graduate in engineering if you like to apply for the same.
    There will be no age relaxation for the same.
    If you like to apply for the CDS examination then also you can apply.
    CDS stands for the combined defence services examination.
    Here is the eligibility criteria of the examination given below-
    You need to be graduate in any discipline from a recognised university for indian army.
    You need to be a graduate in physics maths and engineering for indian air force and indian navy.
    Age limit.
    To apply for Officers training academy 19 to 25 years of age.
    To apply for indian millitary academy 19 to 24 years of age.
    To apply for air force academy 19 to 23 years of age.
    To apply for indian naval academy 19 to 22 years of age.
    selection procedure.
    -written test.
    -SSB interview.
    -medical examination.
