    Hi,
Well, It is really good that you have completed your 10+2 with such a good percentage but as the candidates of the Mathematics and Physics Back ground are only eligible to appear for the Indian Navy and the Air force.but you are eligible for the Indian Army.
As the candidates who had completed the 10+2 course of study in any of the disciplines are eligible for appearing to the Indian Army.

The NDA is conducted by UPSC and they have certain kind of norms for the different streams of defence forces,

    Eligibility Criteria:
    Age Limit-
you should have attained the age of 16.5 years and must not exceed the age of 19 years

    Educational Qualifications-
should have completed the 10+2 class of study and there are different sections of study for different defense sectors such as the
Indian Army:should have completed the +2 in any of the disciplines for appearing to the Indian Army
Indian Navy & Air force-should have completed the +2 class of study in the Mathematics and Physics related branches of study

    Hey friend,
No,you are not eligible for joining in Indian Navy without Maths in +2
The reason is because that you are not satisfying the needed education qualification for joining in Indian Navy which is a defence force of India.

For joining in Indian Navy you need to write the entrance exam and as per that you need to satisfy the framed criteria's for the exam

As per the qualification of yours and interested in joining in Indian Navy you need to write the NDA Exam which offers you to join in it.But you are not eligible for applying for the exam as you are not satisfying the framed criteria's needed for the exam.

As regarding the education qualification needed you are not satisfying that as on the condition that you need to have completed +2 with Physics and Mathematics as subjects

So that you are eligible for applying for the exam as per the qualification needed. But you are not satisfying that in order to be eligible.

The qualification which are needed to be satisfied are:

    >> Nationality

    >> Martial Status

    >> Age Limit

    >> Education qualification

    >> Physical Standard

In the case of satisfying them all means only you are eligible for applying

Re: Am I eligible for Navy without maths in 10+2?

    Sorry my friend ,
But you cannot join the Indian navy force if you have not taken maths subjects in your selected stream of subjects
in your 10+2 level Secondary Education .

You cannot Even apply for thew cadre post in the Indian Navy after your 10+2 level because you have not studied
maths subject in your 10+2 level Secondary Board education .
In order to apply for the post of cadre in the Indian navy through the National Defence Academy ( NDA ) Examination
or the Indian Navy 10+2 technical entry scheme (TES) Examination you should have selected mathematics subjects in
your 10+2 level Secondary Board education in a recognised institution of India .

So sorry to say but after such a good marks also you cannot join the Indian navy cadre post .

Well, maths is required for most of the navy posts, but all doors are not closed for you. Don't be disappointed, you can still try for non commisioned posts.
    All the best for them!

    Dear aspirant,

If you have to join Indian Navy after 10+2 then you should have Physics and Maths in your 10+2 otherwise you will be only eligible for Army wing.

You can join Indian navy through NDA exam but you should have physics and maths in you +2.

Donít get disheartened because you are eligible for Army . Just be prepared for the objective type paper and SSB interview.

    BEST OF LUCK.....

    Hello,

It is great that you have very good percentage in 10+2 , but having no mathematics, then you are not eligible for Indian navy.
But don't worry if you have any sports cotta (like state level certificate or national level game in any outdoor game) then you have some how entry in Indian navy otherwise not. The type of entry through which you can apply for through sports cotta are direct entry petty officer (Sports) and S.S.R (Senior Secondary recruitment) [sports].
If you have studied further and till graduation then you have entry in some post of navy.

Other wise you have more option in Indian army. You can go through these exam of Indian army and get a higher as your qualification.

    Best of luck..

Re: Am I eligible for Navy without maths in 10+2?

    Hi

I am really sorry to say that you will not be eligible for the Indian Navy or Air Force as of now with your present qualifications. This is because of reason which is listed as below :

    1. As you say that you did not have Mathematics as a subject in your Class 12th Intermediate, so without Maths it is not possible to take up any technical like as Engineering, Medical, etc.. and neither Indian Air Force not Navy.

As per the NDA requirements you should be an Indian Male, age between 16.5 to 19 years and Science student to take up ANY of the three wings of the NDA, but if you rae from Commerce or any non Science background, then you will ONLY be eligible for the Army wing.

Hence I would urge you to either go for the Army or take up graduation after which you may have chances for the IMA, OTA, etc posts in which even non mathematics graduates can apply..

    Hope this helps

    All the best

    Regards
    RANJEET
