Re: Am I eligible for NDA-I next year?

    Hello my friend ,
Since your are in 1st September 1994 , so I conclude by saying that you are not eligible for the NDA-I
examination which is going to be held next year .
This is mainly because your age will become more than 19 or you will become 19 years old when you will be selected for the SSB rounds next year after passing the NDA - I examination . So due to this you will be declared as a non- eligible candidate for the next year NDA - I examination
Hence , you will also be non - eligible for applying the Next years NDA - I examination .
First of all I would like to tell you that the age criteria is not considered in correspondence to the dates of National defence Academy examination actually the age criteria is considered in correspondence to the SSB Dates for that particular examination .

As you may no that the age criteria for applying the National defence Academy examination is between 16 to 19 years .
This examination can be applied only by the unmarried male candidate . And the male candidates applying for this NDA Examination should be an Indian or an refugee of other countries permanently settled in India .
And you must pass your 12th class examination from a recognised institution of India .

Sine you have fulfilled all this eligibility criteria but you lack in the age eligibility criteria for applying the National defence Academy examination .

So at last I would suggest you that you should now concentrate on your graduation and after completing it or while in the final year of your graduation you can apply for the CDS ( Common defence service ) examination
of the UPSC Government . through this examination also you can join any defence service of Indian Army as a cadre .
This examination is conducted twice a year .

Re: Am I eligible for NDA-I next year?

    Dear Friend,

Considering your age factor, you are ineligible for NDA-I 2013. As you should be 19 or less on 1st of Jan 2014, but will cross 19 on 1st of Sep 2013, hence NDA entry is no more there for you.

    Regards...
