Re: Am I eligible for NDA-I in next year being 18 years old?

Sorry to say but , you are no longer eligible for applying the NDA Examinations .
By NDA Examinations I mean to say the National Defence Academy Examinations .
This Examination are conducted twice each a year as NDA - I and NDA - II Examination .
This responsibility to conduct the NDA Examination is of the UPSC Government of India .
This Government only conducts the NDA examination for the applied candidates .

The NDA Examination can be applied only by the unmarried male candidate of India or other
refugee unmarried male candidates permanently settled in India .
The candidates applying the NDA examination should be studying in the 12th class or have passed their
10+2 level board examination from a recognised Institution of India .

Since you are at 18 years old at present . So when you apply for the NDA - I Examination next year
your age at that time might also be 18 but when the SSB Rounds for the NDA - I Examination
going to be conducted in the year 2013 you will become 19 years old .
And thereby you will become non-eligible to enter the National defence Academy .
The maximum age required to join the National Defnce Academy after passing the NDA Examination is 19 years
but before the SSB Rounds of the next years NDA - I Examination you will grow 19 years old .
    And so
my friend you chances of applying for the NDA Examination are over .
