Re: Am I still eligible for CDS exam of OTA?

Friend, please note that the required minimum educational qualification in order to be eligible for Officer Training Academy in CDS Examination is just any graduation degree in any discipline. There is no emphasis or weightage given on performance at 10+2 for OTA. But for Airforce academy or Naval academy, performance and subjects taken are deeply considered. So you may apply for OTA through CDS Examination without any hesitation. You should start preparing the CDS examination right now by making a balance in studies of BBA and CDS Exam's preparation.WISH YOUR BRIGHT FUTURE

    Dear Friend,

Yes, you can definitely apply for the CDS entry as the qualification required to do so is "graduate from a recognized university". And even final year graduation students are also eligible, so you can definitely apply.

Yes, definately you can enter into the officer training academy with the qualification stated by you. As per UPSC, you need to have completed the graduation in any stream from an recognised university to be eligibile for the combined defence services (CDS) examination. You percentage in 12th won't be considered here, so don't worry. Your age should be between the limit of 19 years to 25 years. There is no criteria here to provide age relaxations. You should be unmarried in order to apply for this examination. This examination is conducted twice a year, so keep a eye on notifications.
