    Any opportunity in Navy, Army or Defence after passing MCA?

    HI ,
    I am shabana. I have done my MCA(master of computer applications) and i am trying for govt job. also i have NCC C-certificate. Is there any opportunity for me in Navy, Army, or any Defence services?

    Please reply me with complete details.

    Yes friend,

    You have great opportunity for Indian Navy in Ground Duty branch under Logistics Branch.

    Under Logistics Branch you can join for SSC Logistics Cadre . for the same eligible criteria are

    Gender : Men & Women

    Age : 19 1/2 - 25 years

    Qualification : 1st class degree in BA / Bcom / B Sc / MCA / BCA / BE / B Tech / etc...

    so you can go for this Apply for the same

    There are many options for u to join in defence sector.

    NDA,CDS,UES,OTA............ are the entrance examinations through which u can get into defence

    NDA stands for National Defence academy.One can get into defence through NDA by following eligibility criteria.
    The candidate should be a citizen of India.
    Qualification-12th pass with the subjects PCM from a recognized university.
    Age limit-16 to 19 without any disease.

    eligibility for CDS,UES,OTA

    The candidate should be a citizen of India.
    Qualification-graduation from a recognized university.
    Age limit- 19-24 for Army
    19-22 for navy
    19-23 for Air force

    yes definately you can join any force in indian defence

    if your age permits (20-25yrs) than you can apply for cds enterence exam

    or otherwise,

    you can join airforce as a ground duty officer (administrative branch or logistics branch).

    Yes you can join in army
    For that you need to clear any of these exams
    1.UPSC exam.
    2.TES(technical entry scheme) scheme.

    You can join defence sector after your MCA.
    You can take advantage of your NCC-C certificate.But your MCA will be consider as graduation.
    You can give following exams :

    CDS ( Combined Defense Services ) examination :-


    UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) twice in every year conducts the common entrance exam for the entry into CDS.

    - UNMARRIED MALE & FEMALE eligible for CDS exam.
    - UNMARRIED FEMALE eligible for CDS OTA exam only.
    Eligibility :
    Educational qualification :

    - for I.M.A & O.T.A : Degree from a recognized university.
    - for Navy : B.Sc ( Physics & Mathematics ) or Bachelor of Engineering.
    - for Air Force : Bachelor of Engineering or Degree from recognized university ( with Physics & Mathematics at +2 level ).
    Age Criteria :

    - For IMA-18 to 23 years
    - For Naval Academy-19 to 22
    - Air Force Academy: 19-23 years
    - Officers Training Academy: between 19-25 years

    ARMY :-

    1)TGC(Technical Entry Scheme) :-


    The candidate age should be 20years and 27 years.
    Graduate(Engg.)
    Indian Citizen
    unmarried

    2)SSC(Short service commission) :-

    The procedure adopted is more or less same which is in the CDS examination.

    Eligibility for Indian navy short service commissioned for unmarried men and women:

    Eligibility Conditions:
    Age 19.5 Years to 25 Years

    B.Sc student with minimum 60% marks in Physics,Mathematics & Electronics.
    M.Sc student with minimum 55% marks in Physics, Mathematics & Electronics

    Physical Standard

    Height & Weight :
    minimum height for men and women is 157 and 152 cms with accordingly weight.


    AIR FORCE :-




    Flying Branch Examination :-

    You must be citizen of India and only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.
    You have age limits for Air force in C.D.S examination is 19 year to 23 years at the time of appearing for this examination.
    You must have a completed degree with 60% from a recognized University or equivalent qualification with physics and mathematics at 12th level examination Or Bachelor's of engineering degree with 60% aggregate marks.


    Technical Examination :-

    You must be citizen of India and the candidate age limits of 18 year and 23 years at the time of appearing for this examination.
    The candidate must have a completed Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering with 60% from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.Both men and women candidates are applicable.


    Ground Duty Examination :-

    You must be citizen of India and both the male and female candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.
    You have age limits of 20 year and 27 years at the time of appearing for this examination.
    You must have a completed degree or post graduate degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification with 60% aggregate marks.
