    Dear Friend,
    #1. Now that you joined the Air Force, do not listen to Army, Navy, Marine or Coast Guard people about how things are in the Air Force.

    #2. Do not worry about basic training. It is unlikely you will wash out.

    #3. If you do not know a foreign language, start learning one. I would suggest Chinese as all the branches need translators.
    regards

    Hello friend,

    Cracking the air force test AFCAT exam requires regular practice and technical knowledge.One should be able to grasp the basics of the subjects like maths etc with no trouble.I would recommend you to make a schedule and try to go on with the time table so that at the end of the day you should be confident of what you have done.

    You must have good verbal ability,good general knowledge,Good hands on elementary maths and practical thinking knowledge.There is no need of geeting into the coaching classes if you are confident of cracking the paper with flying colors.If you don't think so join good institutes like cavalier educational instities for help.

    Make a regular habit of practicing model question papers and try to solve complex problems.

    Re: Best tips for preparation of Air Force? Whether any coaching classes is required to pass the exam?

    ** Remember , with 10th as qualification , you are not eliglible to join AIRFORCE

    ** SO, it is better to complete 12th to join AIRFROCE

    ** After completion of 12th , you can apply for the NDA EXAM

    So, if you want to apply for the National Defence Acdemy exam , then there is some eligliblity criteria for this exam that you should satisfy

    --)) you should have completed 12th or 12TH studying 12th with PCM as main subects
    --)) your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years only to apply for the exam
    --)) you must be a citizen of india
    --)) you must be an unamrried canddiate

    Actually , if you prepare well in the topics of the NDA EXAM , then no need to go for any special coaching for the written exam
    so, you should be well prepared in the Entrance exam syllabus topics

    The exam syllabus is ,

    >> General ability - 600marks
    >> Maths - 300 marks

    Books to be referred for these topics are ,

    >>> General ability - - M. laxmikanth

    >>> Maths - - R.S.Aggarwal

    *** After 12th , you can also apply for the post of GROUP'X' (Technical ) in AIRFORCE

    Your age should not be morethan 22 years for this post

    all the best . . .
