Re: Is it better to join Indian Navy after completing B.Tech in Mechanical engineering or B.com?

DEAR ASPIRANT It is better to opt for CDS after the completion of B.tech for indian navy because B.COM is not enough to apply for indian navy as it require a graduation with engineering, physics and maths. COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES QUALIFICATION:: must be a graduate in any discipline for indian army, but graduate in engineering, physics and maths to apply for indian air forcee and navy, it is mandatory no one can change that rule. AGE LIMIT:: OTA requires 19 to 25 years, IMA requires 19 to 24 years, air force academy requires 19 to 23 years and naval academy 19 to 22 years of age. SELECTION procedure:: objective type written examination followed by an SSB interview and medical examination for final selection. For more details log on to www.upsc.gov.in. Thank you Have a great future ahead.
