There are two entries for Air Force for the graduate candidates.
1)CDSE-Combined Defence Service Examination-It is a entry for three wings, through IMA(Indian Military Academy)- a entry in army,AFA(Air Force Academy)- a entry in air force,NA(Naval Academy)- a entry in navy,OTA(Officers Training Academy)-a entry in army.

Now through CDSE,you can apply for AFA,-the educational qualification required for applying in CDSE(AFA)(flying branch) is graduation from any stream but with physics and maths in 10+2.
    That means you are eligible.
Other entry is AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test)-the entry in air force, same educational qualification for flying branch.
The only difference is that for applying in AFCAT one need to have minimum 60% in graduation while for CDSE that percentage is not required. No percentage is required for CDSE,only pass marks.
You are eligible for AFCAT also.

A old notification of CDSE and AFCAT is being uploaded for reference.

No need to change your Branch now . You have taken one of the Top branches in Engineering. It will not effect to become a Fighter pilot . There is nothing to worry about your Branch here .

See , while you are in Final year of Engineering , you are eligible to apply for different entrance exams to become a Fighter Pilot in Airforce .

    1) AFCAT exam

    2) CDS exam

You can apply for the Airforce Common Admission Test

The exam generally have 3 different branches .

    -) Technical branch

    -) Flying branch

    -) Ground duty branch

For the Flying branch , Age limit is 19-23 years . It includes Transports , Fighters , Helicopters.

    Exam Syllabus :-

    1.. General Awareness

    2.. Verbal Ability in English

    3.. Numerical Ability

4.. Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test

    Good luck
