Re: Can I appear for IMA exam being 23 years old?

    hello my dear friend....

There is not a direct exam for i.m.a. But for that you have to go for
    c.d.s. exam

this is is held twice a year..

And you can apply for both the times ....the age criteria for this exam is from
    19 to 25yrs

    so
yes you are eligible for going to i.m.a.

the other eligibility criteria for c.d.s are

    1.indian citizenship
    2.65% marks in graduation
    3.eyesight 6/6
    4.height 160 cm
    5.no police records
    6.no medical unfitness

best of luck for your future ...

    Happy to help you.......................

    hi

if the candidate age is in between 19-24 year who wishes to join IMA through CDS EXAM,unmarried, medically fine in all aspects, fulfill the physical standards, and have degree qualification, without any backlog

then friend you can try for it.

for this you need to crack the entrance exam name "COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICE " abbreviated as CDS ,happens to held twice in a year .

the notification for the examination is usually released in the month of june and october and exam conduct in the month of february and november respectively.

    **scheme of examination=

all questions are of objective types=english consists 100 marks, mathematics also 100 marks and general knowledge 100 markas,so total of 300 marks

those who has succeeded in written exam would face the physical fitness test followed by SSB interview

the notification you will be updated from the website=

    www.upsc.gov.in

    good luck

    thank you
