why not , but you have to satisfy the age limits . To apply for the NDA Examination , you must have attained the age of minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years at the time of appearing for this examination and No upper age limits is applicable for OBC/SC/ST and other reserved categories . If you are satisfied the age limits then you are eligible to apply for the NDA Examination .

NDA Exam is single door to giving the admission of Indian Army , Indian Navy , Indian Air force . UPSC is conducted NDA Exam twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II . Mostly these examination are held in the period of the April and August in every year . 2013 exam notification will be out soon .

Eligibility Criteria for Navy / Air force ::

Both have a same qualification , you must have a passed your intermediate with PCM ( physics , chemistry and mathematics ) as main subjects from a recognized School or board . But you have a select the only one option while filling the application , if you are selected two option then application form will be rejected and you have to fill the only one application in the announcement of examination . So choice is your .

You must not have a less than 16.5 years and not greater than 19 years at the time of appearing and important thing the applicant must be unmarried male candidate . So if you are standards are matching the criteria then you can definitely eligible to apply for this examination .

HI!
While perusing B.Tech course you are not eligible for N.D.A exam.
If you want to join Indian Air force you that other option like:-
> Combine Defence Services
> University Entry Schemes
> Air Force Combine Written Exam.

C.D.S exam conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.


C.D.S EXAM ELIGIBILITY:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized University or board.
> Your age should be in between 19-24 year.
> You must be citizen of India.
> You should be medically fit(No major surgery in your body).
> NO relaxation for ST/SC candidate.


You have to qualify the C.D.S exam which include three step:-
> WRITTEN EXAM
> INTERVIEW
> MEDICAL EXAM
