I am doing 2nd year Diploma in ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION after 10th.
I want to join NDA after Diploma completes, then what do you suggest me to do.
I want to join NDA in ARMY.
My Diploma will me completed in MARCH-APRIL 2014.It is of 3 years.
My Birth date is 29 November 1994. Now I am 17 years old and I will be 19 years old when my diploma is completed.
Now what do you suggest me to do after my Diploma completes. Can I give NDA exam before my Diploma completes or I have to wait till my Diploma completes.
Please SIR reply me as soon as possible so that i can prepare myself for NDA.

No, you are not eligible for NDA Examination because you have not fulfill the age eligibility criteria, as per your mentioned date of birth you are not eligible for National Defence Academy examination. So, you are not Join Defence through NDA, this examination is conducted twice by UPSC and to apply for this examination your age should between 16.5 to 19 years, your age should not be more than 19 years at the time of commencement of Training. But as per your age, your are already attained the age of 19 years, that's the reason you are not eligible for NDA.

If you are interested to Join Defence, then you have to complete your graduate degree course and then it is a possibility for you to Join Defence through CDS.

Combined Defence academy examination is also conducted by UPSC, twice for Indian Military Academy, Officer's Training Academy, Naval academy and Air force Academy.

For IMA/OTA, you have to complete your graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognized university.

For Naval and Air force, you have to complete your Graduation with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects as well as in your intermediate examination. The age eligibility are also different for different academy.

=> For IMA, your age should between 19 to 24 years
=> For OTA, your age should between 19 to 25 years
=> For Naval academy, age should between 19 to 22 years
=> For Air force academy, age should between 19 to 23 years.

So, if your aim is to Join Defence, then only you can join only through CDS Examination after graduation, if you need more details then please check UPSC website.

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year .

Eligibility Criteria :-

~~You must be Indian National OR Subject of Bhutan OR Subject of Nepal

~~You must hold the Intermediate(12th) exam of a reputed Institution .

~~Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply .

~~Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA Examination .

~~You should have a maximum 19 years of age and minimum 16 1/2 years of age at the time of appearing for NDA Examination .

~~There is no upper age limits for NDA Examination .

~~Students must be Physically and Mentally fit according to the Physical Standards of NDA Examination .

1. NDA :- Exam conducted twice in a year by UPSC.
All Indian candidate who are unmarried.
12th passed or appearing in any stream (science for Navy and Air force)
Physically and medically fit.
Age limit 16.5-19 years
As you said you are not 12th pass SO YOUR ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE EXAM,

Its better to go for CDS once you complete your graduation.

Friend, it is very unfortunate to you that you are eligible for NDA Examination. As you have enrolled directly into B. Tech after 10th standard and you have never appear in 12th standard. As passed in 10+2 level or its equivalent is the minimum and most important crucial requirement needed to be eligible for NDA Examination. As you have no 12th passed marksheet & diploma, so will not be permitted to NDA Examination. If you have any further query, you may contact the concerned officials.Wish your bright future.

WHOLE PROCESS OF JOINING N.D.A:-

1.COMPLETE 12TH CLASS WITH PHYSICS AND MATHMATICS.
2.YOUR AGE BE WITHIN 16.5 YEARS TO 19 YEARS.
3.YOU MUST BE AN UNMARRIED INDIAN MALE CITIZEN.
4.YOUR EYE SIGHT MUST BE WITHIN 6/6 AND HEIGHT NOT LESS THAN 157cms.
5.YOU MUST BE FREE FROM COLOR BLINENESS AND NIGHT BLINDNESS.
THESE ARE THE MAIN POSITIVE POINTS YOU HAVE TO POSSES BEFORE JOINING N.D.A

NEXT YOU ARE TO CLEAR WRITTEN/INTERVIEW/MEDICAL TESTS TO DO SSB, THROUGH WHICH YOU ARE TO BE DESIGNATED AS AIR FORCE OFFICER.

Dear aspirant,

-For NDA exam you should be 10+2 or its equivalent passed. Diploma in engineering is equivalent to 10+2. So until you complete your diploma in engineering you will not be eligible for NDA exam.

-For NDA exam age limit is 16 ½ to 19 years and unmarried male are only allowed for NDA exams.

-As you are diploma in engineering you will be eligible for all the three branches of defence that is Army , Air force and Navy.

-NDA exam is a objective type paper which you have to pass to be eligible for SSB interview.

-IF you pass SSB you will be send for medical test. If you are medically fit then you will join NDA for your graduation.

You want join Army after complete graduation because your age 19 after complete dimploma

so you can apply after graduation through CDS examination and you can give this examination

Twice in a year.Some eligibility criteria are given below.NDA examination you can give after 12th.

and You can give NDA examination twice in a year and Both exam is conducted by through UPSC.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :-

You should be graduate.

You should have be good marks in graduation.
