    Sir,
    is there any carrier option in defence services for B.tech mining engineers?

    Future prospects in government
    sector and in defense services sector after B.Tech ECE is very good.

    ECE
    holders can apply also most all govt PSU exams.

    like some of govt exams
    are

    >>SAIL.

    >>BHEL.

    >>RAIL.

    >>EIL.

    >>BEL.

    >>DRDO.

    >>GAIL.

    Hello friend,its good to join Indian Defence Services after doing engineering.As an engineering student,you will be given special preferences as far as entrance into the system is concerned.
    You need to take the following procedure.
    Mode of entry into the defence services : EKT TEST for Indian Air Force.
    Age limit: 18 to 28 years
    Minimum Marks : 55% in all semesters.
    Advertisement release : January and July Employment News.
    Air Force Training will be held for the selected candidates at Air Force Academy,Hyderabad and Air Force Technical COllege,Banglore for a period of 72 weeks.

    You can also go for
    1 NDA
    2 CDS
    3 AFCAT
    4 SSC (Technical men):SSC means Short Service Commission.
    5 SSC (non-tech women)
    6 NCC Special Entry Scheme
    7 University Entry Scheme
    8 12th (Tech Entry Scheme)

    >>>> Physical Criteria :-

    Height should be at least 157.5 cms & 162.5cms for Defence.

    Chest should be fully expanded. The fully expanded chest should not be less than 81cms.

    There should not be any disease of bones or joints of the body.

    should not be overweight or under weight. He should not have weakly constitution.

    Your vision in one eye must be perfect - 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.

    My Suggestion is try to apply for Indian Navy.This is the best career to you after completing Engineering Course.In Indian Navy,You will be having good scope for getting good opportunities.You can get jobs in directly Technical Field of Indian Navy.So You are the first person who get those job and You will be given preference in the Interview for those positions.So try to get good knowledge in Technical Side then surely You will get good job in Indian Navy.


    Indian Navy is One of the most respected field in India after Indian Army,There are plenty of openings available in this sector but only very few people are getting opportunities.If You try hard then surely You will get good job in Indian Navy and You will be given good respect in the society and You can get job satisfaction in Indian Navy.


    If You want to get job in Indian Navy then you have to qualify CDS Examination or Short Service Examination,Then only You are eligible to get job in Indian Navy.


    Combined Defense Service Examination;


    If you want to apply for this position then you must be completed Degree with Mathematics and Physics or Engineering graduation from recognized university with any stream and Your age should be between 19 to 22 years.This exam will be conducted two times in a year by UPSC.

    Short Service Commission;

    If you want to apply for this position then you must be completed your Engineering Graduation from recognized university with 55% of marks and Your age should be between 19.5 Years to 25 years.Unmarried male candidates those who have completed technical Engineering courses are eligible for this positions.
