    Hi,
    If you want to become customs officer you have to give CIVIL SERVICES exam.

    NOTIFICATION COMES IN MONTH OF FEBRUARY.

    PRELIMINARY EXAM IS HELD IN MONTH OF JUNE.

    This exam consists of..







    MAINS EXAM is held in month of OCTOBER-NOVEMBER

    You have to give 9 papers in total.


    THESE EXAMS ARE SUCCEED BY INTERVIEW and RESULTS IS DECLARED...

    You have to appear for civil service examination to become a customs officer. This exam is conducted by UPSC. After clearing this exam you can enter in to many services including Indian Customs and Central Exercise Services. There are two parts in this exam. The first one is the preliminary exam and the second one is the main exam. The eligibility for appearing for this exam is to have completed graduation from any recognized university. The minimum age required for applying for this exam is to be above 19 years of age. You should obtain a minimum of 55% marks to appear for this exam. Many prominent periodicals, leading newspapers and official websites notify about this exam. Many other qualities are required for becoming customs officer. These are
    Indian Citizenship

    Ability to work in flexible schedules

    Must pass an extensive background check

    Must possess a driving license

    Must be able to activate telephone or radio equipments, etc.

    Should posses an aptitude to cooperate and communicate with the community

    Should have never had drugs of any kind

    After clearing the written test and interview you will have to undergo training in customs department. You should prepare well with a proper study plan. Many coaching centers like T.I.M.E., IAS Coaching Center, Brilliant Tutorials, etc provide coaching for civil service exams. You can join any of these near your place. You can know about the fees and other details in the notification.

    for the UPSC exam there are two papers
    paper1
    paper2

    duration of to paper is two hours and each paper having 200 marks...

    for 1st paper general knowledge is important
    for 2nd paper english is important..

    UPSC Stands for Union Public Service Commission is conducted every year.

    To become customs officer then you need to crack the Civil Service examination.

    Minimum Qualification for this examination is graduate degree with minimum pass marks from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and those who are pursing in the final year of degree course can also eligible.Age limits for this examination is 21 years and 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination.

    Civil Service examination can be divided into three stages :- 1)Preliminary exam 2)Main exam 3)Personal Interview.

    Hello friend,the test for Customs Department is held by UPSC
    In Indian Customs Department,You can apply for the following posts:
    1 Probationery officers
    2 Assistant Commissioner
    3 Deputy COmmisioner
    4 Additional Commissiones
    5 COmmissioners

    For this the eligiblity is as follows"
    1 The candidates must be An Indian Citizen
    2 He must have graduation degree with minimum 60 % Aggregate marks
    3 The age limit is 21 to 30 years .

    The exam pattern is as follows:
    1 Preliminary Exam
    2 Main Examination
    3 Interview Test

    PRELIM EXAM: The exam is of objective type

    MAIN EXam : The written exam consists of following papers.
    PAPER I : It is of 300 marks
    PAPER II : English 300 marks
    PAPER III: Essay 200 marks
    PAPER IV: General Studies
    PAPER V : 300 marks
    PAPER VI: 300 marks

    INTERVIEW TEST will carry 300 marks

    Well dear if you want to get job in custom department then you have to crack civil services exam.this exam is conducted every year by upsc.
    Eligibility:
    @you should have a graduation degree in any stream from any recognised university.
    #age limit.your age should be between 21 to 30 years.age relaxation of 3 years to obc candidate and that of 5 years is provided to sc candidate.
