    dear aspirant,

    AFCAT stands for "Air Force Common Admission Test". the exam is conducted for various posts in Air Force.



    AFCAT exam is conducted for three branches of air force:-
    >>Flying
    >>Technical
    >>Ground duty

    Educational qualification:

    >>Flying branch:- graduation in any stream with Aggregate 60% marks from recognized college or university.


    >>Technical branch:- graduation in aeronautical engineer from any recognized university.


    >> Ground duty branch:- graduation with 60% marks or post-graduation in any discipline with 50% marks from any recognized university.


    >>Age limit:-
    Flying branch:-19 years to 23 years.
    Technical branch:-18 years to 28 years.
    Ground duty branch:-20 years to 27 years.

    AFCAT stands for Air force common admission test .this test is conducted by the Indian air force for selection of officers in all branches of IAF.
    AFCAT is conducted twice in the year in the months of february and july.
    the following are the qualification for the AFCAT examination:

    1.citizen of India
    2.both male and female candidates can apply
    3.should have bachelor degree along with 12 th from the disciplined university
    4.age should be between 18 to 25 years.

    total questions:100
    total marks:300
    each wrong answer carries minus 1 mark
    multiple choice questions
    time:2 hours

    each question paper will have questions from the following topics:

    general awareness
    verbal ability in English
    numerical ability
    reasoning and military aptitude test.

    AFCAT is exam conducted by Airforce for entry of young Males and Females into Ground Duty branch,Flying Branch and Technical Branch. The eligiblity for all the 3 branches are separate. For Flying branch,eligibility is Graduation with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2level.Age limit 20-23years. For Technical Branch, B.E/B.Tech with above 60% and should have a certain combination of subjects as listed in the notifications.You can get that in the website of Airforce as well.Age limit 20-27years. For Ground Duty Branch- Administration and logistics-Graduation with 60% age limit 20-23years or Postgraduation with 55% and age 20-25years. Commerce -Graduation in commerce with 60% or postgraduation in commerce/CA/ICWA with 55% marks and Age limit 20-25years.     AFCAT ----- Air Force Combined Admission Test

    Under this if you score a good marks in this test You are able to join in any of the following branches

    a)Flying Branch

    b) Technical branch

    c)Ground staff branch


    Age limit for above branches :

    Flying branch about --------- 19-23 years

    Technical branch ----------- 18-28 years

    Ground staff branch ---------- 20-27 years


    Educational Qualification :


    For any of the branches you must complete Graduation from any recognized university with minimum60% matks

    Friend,

    The Graduates who want to apply or join to Indian Air force such candidates have to apply for the AFCAT exam. The AFCAT exam I conducted in order to select the candidates in the Indian Air force fields.

    In the Indian Air force the are different Branches in which you can join.

    # Technical Branch
    # Ground Duty
    # Flying Branch

    Education qualification
    The candidates have to clear Graduation ( minimum three year ) from the recognized college in any discipline . you have to hold minimum aggregate of 60%.

    Age Limit
    19-23 years

    Nationality
    Indian citizen

    Physical Standards

    Height - minimum 162.5 cm
    Weight should be correlated
    Sitting height 81.5-96 cm
    Leg length 99-120 cm

    The candidates should be for from the diseases and effects in the body. If the candidates found any defects in the body during the medical examination then such candidates will be rejected

    Selection Process

    The candidates should be first appear for the written exam. The written exam will consists of the

    General Awareness
    Quantitative Aptitude test
    General English
    Reasoning etc.

    After clearing the written exam called for the Interview.

    AFCAT - AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST

    This exam is specially for joining Air Force only.
    It has three branches;-

    >>Technical
    >>Ground Duty
    >>Flying


    For AFCAT you must have graduation in science from a recognized university with atleast 60%marks.
    Your age for Flying branch must be in between 20-23 years.
    and for technical and Ground duty age limit is 20-25 years.

    So these are the eligibility must be for AFCAT exam.

    Indian Air Force is the air arm of Indian armed forces,it is responsible for security of India through air ways.
    Now one of the entries for recruitment in Air Force is AFCAT.

    AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test.
    Air Force have three branches
    1)Flying Branch
    2)Technical Branch
    3)Ground Duty Branch

    Through AFCAT,one can apply for all three branches of air force.
    The educational qualification for applying in flying branch is graduation from any stream with 60% marks but with physics and maths in 10+2.
    Age limit is 19 to 23 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying).

    The educational qualification for applying in technical branch is a engineering degree with 60%
    Age limit is 18 to 28 years

    The educational qualification for applying in ground duty branch is graduation from any stream with 60%.
    Some posts are also for post graduates.

    AFCAT is conducted twice in a year,the notifications are released in the month of June and December.

    AIRFORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST



    The AFCAT exam is to join in Airforce . The candidates who have completed Graduation from a Recognised university and the candidates who are in Final year of B.tech can apply for the exam .


    The exam includes 3 branches .

    (1) Technical branch

    (2) Flying branch

    (3) Ground duty branch



    To apply for the Technical branch , age limit is 18-28 years only

    Flying branch includes ,

    ~ Helicopters
    ~ Transports
    ~ Fighters

    Age limit to join in Flying branch is 19-23 years only



    Ground duty branch includes ,

    ~ Accounts

    ~ Meterology
