Friend, you are right. Your doubt regarding your candidature is genuine in the query. Your candidature does not fit in the required eligibility criteria. For AFCAT, it is mandatory to have physics and mathematics in the 12th standard. Also it is needed to have graduation in physics & mathematics or degree in engineering discipline. And age of the candidate should be in the limit of 19-23 years. But you did not fall in the required eligibility criteria as you lack mathematics subjects in 10+2 and also you don't have any engineering degree or science stream degree.WISH YOUR BRIGHT FUTURE

    Hey friend,

The AFCAT exam(Air Force Common Admission Test) is conducted for candidates to join in:

    >> Ground Duty Branch

    >> Technical Branch

    >> Flying Branch.

Being a Final Year student in Pharmacy you are eligible for writing the exam but for joining in Ground Duty Branch as you are only satisfying the education qualification for that force.

The education qualification needed for joining in Ground Duty Branch is that you need to have completed a degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage

If you are possessing all these criteira's then you can apply for the AFCAT Exam to join in Air Force

Re: Eligibility of AFCAT for final year Student having medical stream in 12th?

    Hello

As you did not had physics and maths in 10+2,then you are not eligible for applying in flying branch,it is as simple as that.
AFCAT allows to apply for all three branches of air force,as you did not physics and maths in 10+2,you are not eligible for applying in flying branch of air force.
Technical branch requires a degree in engineering in stream like electronics, mechanical. But b.tech in pharmacy is not eligible for applying in flying banch.
For ground duty branch it is necessary to have graduation from any stream, that you are.

Hence you are only eligible for ground duty branch in air force.
For more details visit the website of air force
    www.careerairforce.nic.in

Also a old notification of AFCAT is uploaded for your reference.

Re: Eligibility of AFCAT for final year Student having medical stream in 12th?

As you mentioned you belong to medical stream you can't apply for the AFCAT exam.

Only candidates who have math and physics as compulsory subject during the intermediate can join the Indian Air force.

But don't worry friend you can join the Indian Army.

For this you need to apply for the CDS exam.

This exam is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

To apply for the CDS exam you need to satisfy the its eligibility criteria.

You should have graduation degree in any stream from recognized university.

You can apply in final year of graduation.

Your age should be 19 to 25 years.

You must be the citizen of India.

To find out the notification for the CDS exam you should regularly visits its official website

hifor giving the AFCAT exam and join the indiian air force, it is compulsory for you to have physics and mathematics as your main subjects in class 12th and as you do not have mathematics in your class 12th and also in your graduation, you do not have mathematics as your main subjects, therefore you are not allowed to give the AFCAT exam. The age critieria for giving the exam is that your age should be in between 19-23 years of age.
