    Eligibility to appear in AFCAT exam for 19 years old candidate?

    sir
    i am 19 years old, but i will b completing
    my b.com graduation next year...
    am i eligible for AFCAT at this age?

    Please Find The Details About The AFCAT Exam

    AFCAT Means Air Force Common Admission Test
    This Exam Includes Three Branches.

    Technical Branch
    Ground Duty Branch
    Flying Branch

    For The Technical Branch All Males and Females are Eligible and Should be Completed The Any Graduation from The Any Discipline University With 60% Marks and age Should be between 18-28 Years.

    For The Flying Branch Age Should be between 19-23 Years And One More Important News is Those Who are Having Commercial Pilot Licence Which is Issued By DGCA Will Be Relaxed Age upto 25 Years And For This You Should be Completed 10+2 in Maths and Science And Now Should be Completed The Graduation from The Any Discipline University with 60% Marks
    And Physical Standards For this Flying Branch minimum Height 162 Cms and Correlated Weight and Eye Vision Should be 6/6 and 6/9

    For Ground Duty Branch

    (a). Age Limit:
    Age Limit Born between (both dates inclusive)
    For Graduates 20 to 23 years 02 Jan 1991 to 01 Jan 1994
    For Post Graduates/LLB (5 years) 20 to 25 years 02 Jan 1989 to 01 Jan 1994
    For LLB (3 years) 20 to 26 years 02 Jan 1988 to 01 Jan 1994
    For M.Ed/Ph.D/CA/ICWA 20 to 27 years 02 Jan 1987 to 01 Jan 1994



    (b). Educational Qualifications:


    Branch Qualification
    Administration and Logistics Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate degree/equivalent diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
    Accounts Graduate degree in Commerce (B.Com) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M.Com)/CA/ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
    Education Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.


    Physical Standards:

    Height Should be 157 cms for Men and 152 cms for Women and Correlated Weight

    AFCAT means Airforce common Admission Test Exam.This exam consists three branches -i> Flying Dutyii> Ground Dutyiii> Technical Duty Flying Duty EligibilityAge must be between 19 to 23 year . Candidates must have bachelor degree in engineering from a recognized university. Ground Duty EligibilityAge must between 20 to 25 year . Candidates must have graduation degree in B.Com , M.Com from a recognized university.Technical Duty EligibilityAge must be between 18 to 28 year . Candidates must have Bachelor's degree of B.E/B.TECH from a recognized university.Yes,you are eligible for ground duty post.Good Luck!

    Hello

    YES YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR AFCAT.

    The age limit for applying in AFCAT is 19 to 23 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying).
    But air force have three branches
    1)Flying Branch
    2)Technical Branch
    3)Ground Duty Branch

    But as you are a graduate in B.COM,you are only eligible to apply in air force.
    As for applying in flying branch and technical branch,you need to have belong to science branch.

    For flying branch,it was necessary to have physics and maths in 10+2 beside having graduation.
    For technical field you must have engineering degree.

    Age is absolutely ok.
    The age limit for applying in air force for graduates in flying and ground duty branch is 19 to 23 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying)
    Technical branch-age required is 18 to 28 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the applying.

    See , there are different branches in AFCAT exam . Like TECHNICAL branch , GROUND DUTY branch , FLYING Branch . For ach and every branch,the Qualification and Age requirement changes .

    After completion of your B.com you can apply for the Airforce Common Admission Test . There is no doubt in that .

    1) Note that , B.com graduates are not eligible for the TECHNICAL BRANCH of Airforce . So, you are also not eligible for the Technical branch

    2) As an B.com graduate , you can apply for the both Flying branch as well as Ground duty branch .

    For the GROUND DUTY branch , Your age shouldbe in between 20-23 years only . Your age shouldnot be lessthan 20 years .

    Ground duty branch includes ,

    --> Administration
    --> Education
    --> Accounts
    --> Meterology
    --> Logistics



    3) For the Flying branch , your age shouldbe in between 19-23 years only

    It includes ,

    --> Helicopters
    --> Fighters
    --> Transports




    Written exam syllabus is ,

    (1) General Awareness
    (2) Verbal ability in english
    (3) Numerical Ability
    (4) Reasoning and militaary aptitude test



    Each question from every topic carries 3 marks

    Yes you are absolutely eligible to apply for the AFCAT examination

    You can go through the Notification or the Details about AFCAT for Further Clarification


    You have a eligibility to apply for " Ground Duty Branches " because it give the eligibility for the B.com and M.com candidates

    <> For this you must have minimum 60% percentage in the Graduation level

    <> Generally for Graduates in the General duty branches the Age is in between 20-23 years

    <> The Minimum height for Men is 157.5 cms and Which is balanced as per the Weight

    <> For Women the Minimum height is 152 cms and also having the balanced weight

    AFCAT exam stands for Air force Common Admission Test is conducted to join Indian air force into following;-

    Flying Branch

    Ground duty branch

    Technical Branch;-


    For applying Flying Branch of Air Force You must have completed their Bachelor Degree in engineering that is B.E/B.Tech from the Recognized Universities.

    The age of You should be between 19 to 23 years.

    For the Technical Branch of Air Force You must have completed their Bachelor in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from Recognized Universities.

    Age of You should be between 18 to 28 year.

    For Ground Duty Branch You must have completed their Graduation degree in any discipline from recognized Universities applicable.

    Age for Ground duty it is between 20 to 25 years.

    Hey friend,

    AFCAT Stands for Air Force Common Admission Test

    This exam is conducted for candidate to join in Indian Air Force and there are 3 branches in AFCAT and they are:

    > Flying Branch

    > Technical Branch

    > Ground Duty Branch.


    You being 19 years old the branch which you could opt for joining in the force is :

    > Flying Branch & Technical Branch,

    You are satisfying the needed age for joining in this force,but there are certain other standards which are also needed to be satisfied.

    The age limit needed for the Flying Branch is
    19 to 23 years as on 01st January, 2014 (born between 02nd January, 1991 to 01st January, 1995)

    For the Technical Branch the age limit which is needed is 18 to 28 years as on 01st January, 2014 (born between 02nd January, 1986 to 01st January, 1996)

    And the other criteria's are:

    > The Nationality standard for the exam states that the candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citizenship in India

    > The Education qualification needed for joining in Flying Branch is that the candidate must have completed a Degree with at least 60% aggregate

    > For joining in Technical Branch the education qualification which is needed for the exam is that the candidate must have completed a Degree in B.E/B.Tech with a fair percentage.

    If you satisfy them all then you can apply for the AFCAT Exam

    You will be eligible in AFCAT for Ground Duty Branch in either Adinistration and Logistics dept OR in Accounts department.

    Following are the educational qualifications required for the jobs of GROUND DUTY Branch for both the departments:

    Administration and logistics- Age limit 20-23years.Graduation with above 60% aggregate from any stream.
    Accounts department-Graduation in Commerce with 60% marks aggregate OR Postgraduate in Commerce with 55% aggregate.Age limit for B.Com 20-23years and M.Com is 20-25years.
    You can also complete CA/ICWA and then apply for AFCAT till age of 27years with 50% marks aggregate in CA.
