    NDA-National Defense Academy.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA is 10+2 passed with physic and maths-Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.
10+2 passed with any stream-Indian Army.

Age Limit-16.5 years to 19 years.
At the time of commencement of the course, not at the time of applying.

Now as you are studying in Diploma, you finish it.
Diploma is considered equivalent to 10+2.

But let me tell you something regarding age limit and criteria.
NDA selection process is three stage

    1)Written Exam.
    2)SSB-Service Selection Board Interview.
    3)Physical Test.

Now it takes nearly 1 year time to complete all the three stage selection process.
So it is necessary that when you apply your age must be within 15.5 years to 18 years.

As it is required that your age must be between 16.5 years to 19 years, when course is due to commence.
It takes nearly 1 year complete time to finish the selection process of NDA.

If you apply at 15.5 years to 18 years then after 1 year your age will be 16.5 years to 19 years.

At present you are not eligible to appear because the age required to apply
for NDA is in between 16.5 to 19 years.
After completing the minimum age criteria of 16.5 years you can surely apply
    for NDA entrance exam.

1- You must be 12th passed with maths as compulsory subject if you want to join Indian Army
and maths and physics both as compulsory subject for Indian Navy and Air Force.

2- You must be citizen of India.

3- Your age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

    4- You must be male.

    5- You must be unmarried.

Re: Eligibility to appear in NDA-2014 for 15 years old diploma student?

It will be better for you if you try for the NDA examination after you get 16 years of age because 15 years old candidate can never apply for the NDA examination because the minimum age as per my view should be 16 because when you apply at the age of 16 then at the starting of the course your age will become 16.5 years so you can easily get the eligibility criteria of the examination.
I hope you understand what i am trying to say.
Here is the eligibility criteria for the NDa examination is as follows-

10+2 in any stream to apply for the indian army.
10+2 in physics and mathematics to apply for the air force and navy.

There will be no age relaxation for any candidates.
You shouldnot have any criminal records.
You must be indian by nationality.
girls are not eligible for NDA.
    Candidate should be male unmarried.
