    Dear Friend,

Yes, you are definitely eligible for the CDS exam. Getting backlog is not a sin, its common, but the important thing is to clear those backlogs. Even students with current backlogs can also apply for this exam but they should be all clear at the time of the checking of the concerned degree certificates by the concerned authorities.

So don't worry and go for CDS I 2013. Last date is 10/12/12.

    Regards...

Dear candidate to get eligibility in cds exam a candidate requires to be graduate or final year candidate get's eligibility as far as upsc is concerned.whether you have graduated with back log that is not the looking factor.looking factor is a graduate or final year candidate from a recognized university is eligible for c.d.s.e of upsc.

If a candidate appear cdse with backlog and not in a position to clear back log within the schedile time his/her candidature must be cancelled as it is against cdse/upsc guideline.

Yes after clearing the backlog of first year senester you will get the eligibility for c.d.s exam.conduct's by union public service commission.

    Thank you,

Friend, it is not a issue that you are backlog in first semester in graduation. Overall, it is required that you should have clear all subjects in subsequent attempts. Candidates belongs to backlog are as equally eligible as other candidates provided that you must satisfy the fixed eligibility criterias for CDS Examination. Backlog candidates has to follow the same eligibility and requirements as required for non-backlog candidates. WISH YOUR BRIGHT FUTURE
