    Eligibility criteria for AFCAT having 12th with PCB, 60% in B.sc (zoology, botany, chemistry) and pursuing M.sc in EVS.

    sir please tell me if i can appear in AFCAT 2012 my DOB is 6th august 1989 and i did my 12th with PCB and my B.Sc in zoology botany chemistry with more than 60 percent marks right now i am doing M.Sc in EVS

    AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST(AFCAT)2012




    you can apply in the given following branch=

    1)technical branch

    2)flying branch

    3)ground duty branch

    eligibility=

    Education qualification=bachelor degree in any subjects/ bachelor of engineering/bachelor of technology

    -should had got 60% in subjects(over all)

    -Age limit=

    a)19-23 year(flying branch)

    b)18-28years(technical branch)

    c)20-27years(ground duty branch)

    Height=

    a)both male and female=162.5cm( flying branch)

    b)technical and ground duty branch

    -men=157.5mc

    -women=152.5cm

    -Should be medically fine in all aspects

    -should have normal hearing

    make sure that the applicants must reach the eligibility standards..otherwise it will leads to disqualification

    AFCAT Stands for Air force Common Admission Test and it Invites the Indian female and Male candidates for the Courses commencing January 2013 & July 2013 (for UES-2013). There are 3 Branches in Air Force Common Admission test and you have to apply for any one of the Branches as per your Eligibility :

    >> Flying branch
    >> Technical branch
    >> Ground Duty branches

    For Flying Branch : You have to complete your B.E/B/Tech Degree courser or Graduate Degree in any subjects with 60% marks and passed 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects. To apply for this Branch, your age should between 19 to 23 years.

    For Technical Branch : Your Must have Completed your Aeronautical Engineering course in Electronics / Mechanical with 60% marks from a recognized University and your age should between 18 to 28 years.

    For Ground Duty Branches : You have to complete your Bachelor degree course or Master degree course in any subjects with 60% marks and your age should between 20 to 23 years(If you are Graduate).

    Those who are Eligible and fulfilling of above eligibility criteria , they can download prescribed format from official websites of air force and filled it Bold capital letters properly and sent it address by registered post of centre for written examination of Air force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) which has been published at air force websites advertisement .

    The last date of apply for AFCAT Examination was already over on 13/Jan/2012, So if you have not applied then you have missed the chance and if you need more Information then check official website :

    hello dear, To join IAF,you can apply for AFCAT exam .

    you are eligible for this but you should haveminimum 60% marks...

    There are three posts for joining in air force,
    1) Flying Branch
    2) Technical Branch
    3) Ground Duty Branch

    AFCAT is a common admission test for a duration of two hours of 100 questions for 300 marks.3 marks for right and 1 mark deduction for each wrong answer.,it is a multiple choice question test having following sections:
    1 Verbal Ability
    2 Numerical Ability
    3 Reasoning
    4 General Awareness
    5 Aptitude

    Hi,
    You must at least complete 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics for Navy.

    The most aspiring option to join to Navy would be to compete for the NDA and NAVAL Academy exam conducted by UPSC.
    You should be 15 to 18 years old to be eligible for this exam.

    There are other options also available to join Indian Navy like SSC but for that you have to be Graduate with Science and Engineering.
