    Eligibility criteria of CDS-2104?

    Dear sir ,
    i want to know about the eligibilty of cds exams in 2014 in detail.
    can you please tell me whats its eligibility????

    CDS examination is conducted twice in the year by the UPSC government.
    This examination is conducted in months of March and September every year.
    CDS is entrance examination for army,navy,military,Air force.:
    eligibilities for CDS examination:
    graduation from the disciplined university
    citizen of India
    age limit:
    IMA:19-25 years.
    OTA:19-24 years
    air force:19-23 years
    navy:19-22 years
    both male and female candidates are eligible.

    CDS entrance exam for 2014 is march and
    September

    Examination CDS march and September month
    Every years

    Eligibility for CDS entrance exam:-

    Minimum qualifications 12th pass

    Physically stander strong

    Medical fit

    Candidate unmarried

    Good eye 6/6

    Indian citizen

    Combined Defense Service Examination.

    Indian Army-Indian Military Academy and Officer Training Academy.
    Indian Air Force-Air Force Academy.
    Indian Navy-Naval Academy.

    IMA-Graduation from any stream.
    OTA-Graduation from any stream.
    AFA-Graduation from any stream with physics and maths in 1+2.
    NA-B.SC(Physics and Maths) OR engineering dgree.

    Age Limit-IMA-19 to 24 years.
    Age limit-OTA-19 to 25 years.
    Age limit-AFA-19 to 23 years.
    Age limit-NA-19 to 22 years.

    IMA-Permanent Commission.
    OTA-Short Service Commission.
    NA-Permanent Commision.
    AFA-Permanent Commission.

    IMA-Only boys eligible.
    OTA-Both boys and girls eligible.
    AFA-Only boys eligible.
    NA-Only boys are eligible.

    CDSE conducted twice in a year,in the month of May and December.

    Eligibility Criteria For CDS:-

    CDS(Combined Defence Services)entrance examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission two times in a year.

    CDS ELIGIBILITY:-

    1.A Graduate or a final year candidate from the recognized University in any discipline can write CDS entrance examination.

    2.The age of the CDS entrance exams: CDS ARMY: 19-24 years, CDS IMA: 19-24 years, CDS OTA: 19-25 years, CDS NAVY: 19-22 years.
    CDS AIRFORCE: 19-23 years.

    3.Male/Female both can write CDS entrance examination.

    4.CDS candidates must be the citizen of India.

    5.Marital status of the CDS candidate must be single.

    Definitely dear I have provided you the detailed information about the CDS examination

    It is conducted by UPSC Twice in a year

    If you want to apply for the CDS you must require Graduation

    Depends on the Stream in your Graduation you can Eligible for the Different wings

    There are Four wings under the CDS Examination and Those are Given below


    <> Indian Navy ( B.Sc or Engineering )

    <> Indian Air Force ( B Sc or Engineering )

    <> IMA ( Any Graduation )

    <> OTA ( Any Graduation )


    Similarly The Age limits are also completely different for the wing to wing


    You Should have the Age in between 19-24 years for the IMA and 19-25 years for the OTA

    For Indian Navy you must require 19-22 years and for Indian Air Force 19-23 years


    Imporatant dates for the CDS I 2014 examination :


    <> Date of Notification : 2/11/2013

    <> Last date of Application Submission : 2/12/2013

    <> Date of Examination : 9/02/2014

    First you have to know about the CDSE exam 2014 exam Dates

    C.D.S. EXAM.(I)

    * NOTIFICATION:- 02- 11- 2013

    * RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS:- 02- 12- 2013

    * COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM:- 09- 02 -.2014



    C.D.S. EXAM (II)

    * NOTIFICATION:- 19-07-2014

    * RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS:- 18-08-2014

    * COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM:- 26-10-2014

    The CDSE stands for the – Combined Defence Service Commission . this exam is conducted in order to select the candidates in the various fields of the Indian defence.

    =>Age Limit as follows

    Indian Navy – 19-22 years
    Indian Military – 19-24 years
    =Indian Air force =- 19-23 years
    OTA – 19-25 years

    => Education – Graduation from the recognized college

    => Martial Status – Unmarried

    => Physical standards – Height – minimum 157.5 cm and for the Air force 162.5 cm and weight should be correlated with height
    For the more information you have to se the Notification of the CDS exam which is displayed in the employment news papers.

    friend CDS is combined defense service.its common test to recruit candidate in to defense field.

    if you fulfill the following skills mentioned below then you are eligible for this exam=

    -NATIONALITY=must be citizen of india.

    -age limit=

    1)IMA=born not earlier than 2nd july 1989 and not later than 1st july 1994.

    2)indian naval academy=born not earlier than 2nd july 1991((NCC HOLDER 1989) and not later than 1st july 1994


    3)air force academy=born not earlier than 2nd july 1990 and not later than 1st july 1994.

    QUALIFICATION=indian army=any bachelor degree from a recognized university

    for indian navy and air force=degree in engineering or bachelor degree in mathematics and physics.

    must be mentally and physically fit and fine.

    should not have any disease and disability .

    must be unmarried

    gender=men and women

    Well CDS never changes the eligibility criteria as its in a rare case so it will be the same as it was in the 2013.
    So if you like to apply for the same then you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria which is the mandatory for any of the examination as follows-
