    Eligibility for CSAT and AFCAT being 23 years old Science graduate?

    Sir,i want to know the eligibilty for csat and also afcat I m a science graduate and 23 of age,am I eligible for this?

    About CSAT : Civil Services Aptitude test.

    Civil Services Examination is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various services like the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Police Service, as well as Group A and Group B Central Services. To apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised University and You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years, The upper age limit will be relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, by 3 years for candidates of OBC.

    The examination is Conducted in 2 stages : Preliminary Examination and Main examination.

    There are 2 papers in Preliminary examination. In Main examination there are 9 papers and you have to choose the subjects in main examination on the basis of Graduation. The Question Papers III to IX will be set both in Hindi and English.

    So, If you have completed your Graduate degree course then please wait for this year Notification and then apply Online, The Notification will be Published soon on 04/Feb/2012.

    About AFCAT : Air Force Common Admission Test

    AFCAT examination is Conducted every year and those who are Interested to Join Indian Air Force May apply for AFCAT Examination, For this year AFCAT Examination was already declared and Published and the last date of apply for this examination was already over on 13/Jan/2012.

    Applications are invited from eligible Men and Women for Air Force Common Admission Test for the courses commencing in January 2013 for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches as well as University Entry Scheme.

    Eligible candidates may apply for these Branches :

    :: Flying branch (Short Service Commission)
    :: Technical branch (Permanent Commission for Men and Short Service Commission for Men/Women)
    :: Ground Duty branches (Permanent Commission for Men and Short Service Commission for Men/Women)

    To apply for Flying Branch, you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks and you must have study maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects in your 12th examination.

    For Technical Branch, You have to complete your Engineering Graduate degree course in mechanical and Electronics with minimum 60% Marks.

    For Ground Duty Branch, You have to complete your Graduate degree course in Commerce with minimum 60% Marks or Completed your Post graduate degree course with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.

    Age Eligibility :

    :: For Flying Branch : Your age should between 19 to 23 Years
    :: For Technical Branch : Your age should between 18 to 28 years
    :: For Ground Duty Branch : Your age should between 20 to 23 Years.

    Eligibility for AFCAT:
    Ground Duty Branch:
    The candidate must be a citizen of
    India
    and must have a age limit of 20-27 years and must have completed a UG or PG degree in any discipline with 60% aggregate.

    Flying Branch:

    The candidate must be a citizen of
    India
    and must have a age limit of 19-23 years and must have completed a degree in B.E/B.Tech with 60% aggregate.

    Technical Branch:

    The candidate must be a citizen of
    India
    and must have a age limit of 18-28 years and must have completed a degree in Aeronautical Engineering with 60% aggregate.

    CSAT means Civil Services Aptitude test. you must be a graduate for applying the exam

    Civil service exam conduct for recruiting the candidate of - IAS ,IPS and IRS department .

    Educational Qualification :-

    Those candidate have completed graduation degree from recognized university are applicable for Civil Service exam.

    Age criteria:-


    For General category candidate your age should be in between 21 to 30 years
    For OBC category candidates your age should be between 21 to 33 years
    For SC/ST category candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years.

    No of attempts :-

    4 attempts for General category candidates
    7 attempts for OBC category candidates
    Unlimited attempts for sc/st category candidates

    #### Yes , You are applicable for CSAT exam because your age now 23 years old.





    AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test.

    AFCAT is an Entrance test conducted for Selection of candidates in defence sector various branch of Indian Air force(Flying, ground, Technical).

    Flying Branch:-If you have completed BE/B.Tech degree then you are applicable for flying branch exam.Your 12th standard subject must be physics and Mathematics .

    Age = 19 to 23 years .

    Technical Branch:-If you have completed BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering so you are applicable for Technical Branch exam.

    Age = 18 to 28 years .

    Ground Duty Branch:-If you have completed in PG Degree/Bachelor Degree in any subjects then you are applicable for Ground Duty Branches .

    Age = 19 to 27 years .

    #### Yes , You are applicable for AFCAT exam of Ground Duty Branch because your age now 23 years old.
