    hello sir
    i want to join indian air force
    its my dream to fly
    so please tell me what i have to do for that

    Hello

    There are three entries to join Indian Air Force in the Flying Branch.

    1)National Defense Academy.
    Qualification-10+2 passed with physics and maths.
    Age Limit-16.5 years to 19 years.
    At the time of commencement of the course.

    2)CDSE
    Combined Defense Service Examination.
    Graduation from any stream with physics and maths in 10+2.
    Age limit-19 to 23 years.
    At the time of commencement of the course.

    3)AFCAT.
    Air Force Common Admission Test.
    Graduation from any stream with 60% with physics and maths in 10+2.
    Age limit-19 to 23 years.
    At the time of commencement of the course.

    All three are conducted twice in a year.

    NDA notification released-May and December.

    Definitely I will give you the Detailed Information about the Flying branch


    <> If you want to go for the Flying branch in Indian Air Force , you must complete the Graduation with Minimum 60% of marks from a Recognized university

    <> You can complete Graduation with Any discipline

    <> That to the Age should be in between 19 -23 years

    <> Both Male and Unmarried students are Eligible to apply


    Not only the Educational , Age criteria you must fulfills the Physical standards as well

    For Male Candidates you must have 157.5 cms and Correlated weight

    Similarly for Female student , you should have a Minimum height of 152 cms


    Coming to selection process you can go through it once

    <> Written Test

    <> Psychological test

    <> Intelligence Test


    Especially for Flying branch , you will have PABT Test

    That is all

    2.CDSE

    If you like to join indian air force through the AFCAT examination then you need to be a graduate in any discipline with 60% in aggregate and also 10+2 in physics and maths , but if you have btech with 60% marks then also you can apply for the same .
    All you need to do is to apply for the AFCAT examination.
    AFCAT stands for the air force common admission test.
    This is conducted every year to select the candidates in any of the branch of indian air force.
    Well as you said that you want to become a pilot then you need to go for the flying branch.
    Flying branch require the age of 19 to 23 years.
    You should be indian by nationality.
    You should not have ay criminal records.

    Friend,

    There are two stage of the education at which you can join .
    You can Jin Indian Air force after the Intermediate by the NDA exam. Or After the Graduation by the CDS exam. But More Better way is CDS exam that is after the Graduation.

    So If you want to join Indian Air force Flying Branch you have to clear Graduation In order to apply for the CDS exam.

    For the CDS exam you must clear Graduation. And also you clear Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics.

    Or
    You can also Join Indian Air force Flying Branch after the Graduation by the AFCAT exam. For the AFCAT exam you must clear Graduation from the recognized college or University with aggregate of 60%. And also you must Hold Physics and Mathematics in the Intermediate level.


    > Selection Processes

    * Written Examination
    * Interview
    * Medical Examination.

    For the Flying Branch you must have special requirements in terms of the Physics standards.


    Leg Length – 99-120 cm

    Height- 162.5 cm and weight should be correlated

    Thigh Length – 64 cm

    Sitting Height – 81.5-96 cm

    Dear, it is good to see that you are interested to be the part of indian defence academy. As you wants to serve the country by joining the air force
    specially in flying branch.
    As you wants to join indian air force, you can appear in the afcat entrance exam. Afcat stands for air force common admission test.
    Afcat exam os conducted for all the three branches of air force which are as following:-

    >>flying branch
    >>technical branch
    >>ground duty

    for appearing in the afcat entrance exam following eligibility criteria should be fulfilled:-

    >>the aspirants should be indian by nationality
    >>there should not have any criminal cases involved with the aspirants
    >>the age of the aspirants should be 19 to 23 years
    >>the height of the aspirants should be minimum 162.5 cm.
    >> the aspirants must have comp;eted the 10+2 level study from any recognized board.

    For the joining air force in flying branch the aspirants also may appear in the nda or cds exam also.

    Hi,

    To join Indian Air Force Flying Branch you have to appear for the AFCAT examination conducted by Air Force for entry in to Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch.

    It is immaterial from where you are completing your education as for Flying Branch you must be an Indian National having completed your Graduation Degree from a recognised Indian University within the age of 19 to 23 years of age.

    With these qualification you can apply for AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test) and successfully cracking the exam followed by personal Interview and Medial and Physical test you may join Flying Branch of Indian Air Force.
