    Hi

I would provide you with some brief information about this NDA Examination and as per its criteria, your eligibility also. At first the NDA stands for the National Defense Academy. Its the first entry in the Indian Defense for Jobs after the Higher Secondary. This exam is organized and conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Its conducted twice every year in the months of April and August. A candidate can apply for any or both.

There are a few Eligibility Criteria's which the applicant must satisfy or meet before sitting for this exam. Please take a note of them as they are listed below :-

-> Should be an unmarried Male candidates. No females/girls can apply for this exam.
-> Age should be within 16.5 to 19 years
-> Only 12th pass/appeared candidates can apply for it. No one below that educational qualification can apply for it..
-> Science students can apply for Army, Navy and Air Force i.e all 3, but the Commerce and Arts ones can only apply for the Army.
-> Another factor is the Physical and the Mental fitness that is very much necessary.

If you can meet these, then surely you are eligible to take up the NDA Examination. As per your age, I would say yeah sure you are eligible but this would be your last attempt as in the year 2013 august you would cross your 19 years of age.
