    Hi

    I am really very sorry that you have short from only one day of the requirement age.

    The Candidate for the NDA exam must born not earlier then
    02/01/1995 and not later then 01/07/1997.

    So it is your bed luck that you are short from one day only.

    For this your must have 12th passed and you must be physically as well as mentally fit.

    You can try in the next year for the NDA exam.

    I am feeling very bed for you but is the game of your destiny.

    Thank you...

    Re: Eligibility for NDA? Option other than NDA?

    As your age is under 19 years now , you can apply for the NDA exam to join in Defence services ..

    Generally , the candidate age shouldbe in between 16.5 to 19 years to apply for the exam . So, no need to worry in this matter .

    Later , for the exam only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible .

    **** But , as per Today , the applications are already closed . And also , your age will crosses 19 years by the next year . So, you are not eligible by the next NDA exam also .

    The exam will be conducted by UPSC Of India twice in every year .

    Selection process of NDA exam :-
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    1. written exam
    2. ssb interview
    3. medical test
    There are many posts in Defence servies that you can apply at this age also .
    ** But , it is always better to you if you continue your studies and complete your B.E. succesfully . See , with B.E. as qualification , there are many posts and some entrance exams through which you can join in Defence services .
    While you are in Final year of B.E , You can apply for the entry schemes like ,
    1) CDS exam
    2) AFCAT exam
    3) UES exam , etc..
    AFCAT exam is to join in Airforce . This exam includes 3 branches like ,
    Techical branch , Flying branch and Ground duty branch
    So, it is better to complete your B.E. now .
    All the best
