NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY IS LOCATED IN KHADAKWASLA NEAR PUNE MAHARASTRA INDIA..IT IS a joint service academy for all the wings of INDIAN DEFENCE SERVICE..

NDA IS PROVIDING TRAINING TO THE CADETS WHO ARE SELECTED FOR INDIAN ARMY AS AN OFFICER..YOU CAN JOIN IT THROUGH NDA EXAM WHICH IS CONDUCTED BY UPSC TWICE IN A YEAR..

IT WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1954..IT IS LOCATED ABOUT 17KM FROM PUNE MAHARASTRA IN THE HILLS VALLEY OF PUNE..

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and it is located south-west Pune city and north-west of Khadakwasla Lake near Pune, Maharashtra and is a Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where Army, Navy and the Air Force candidates are trained together before they go on to pre-commissioning training to their respective academies.

The recruitment of candidates in Army wings, Naval and Air force wings of NDA is only through National Defence Academy Entrance Exam which is held twice a year and conducted by UPSC.

If you cracked the NDA Entrance examination then you are eligible for SSB interview for final selection and those candidates who are selected in SSB are eligible for Medical test and then they finally go for Training in Respective Academy for certain period. The selection procedure is not very easy, lots of candidates have appeared for the examination and only few candidates will be selected.

You need to complete your Intermediate examination to apply for this examination and only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years, Notification published in employment Newspaper or in the official Website of UPSC.
