Hey my dear friend you can apply for indian air force after completing your bsc or in final year.Afcat and cdseafcat is air force common admission test which is conducted by air force board twice in a year in the month of august and februaryyou should have 60% in your degreeyou must be a citizen of india with minimum height of 162 and weight of 62 kilogram.the exam consist of following topicsenglishmathematicsgeneral knowledgereasoning
Presently , you are eligible for the NDA exam to join Airforce

You can apply for the post of GROUP'X' (Technical ) in Airforce

DETAILS REGARDING CDS :- For CDS candidates minimum qualification required is graduation from a recognized university. candidates age should be in between 19 to 25years.candidate should be the citizen of India.CDS exam is carried out by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year namely CDS I and CDS II.candidate minimum height required is 152cm.the applying candidate should be unmarried.
so by fulfilling these conditions you can apply for the CDS exam.There are three steps in CDS selection procedure.
Written test.
Personal interview.
Medical fitness exam.
IMPORTANT DATES FOR CDS II:-
Last date for receipt of applications :- Monday, August 27, 2012.
CDS entrance exam will be conducted on:- Sunday, September 16, 2012.

There are three branches in Indian Air Force.
1)Flying Branch.
Education qualification of Flying Branch is Graduation from any stream with physics and maths in 10+2.
2)Technical Branch.
A engineering degree.
3)Ground Duty Branch.
Graduation from any stream.
As you have done B.SC,hence you can apply for Flying branch and Ground Duty Branch.
You can enter in to Flying Branch through two entries.They are
CDSE-Combined Defense Service Examination and AFCAT-Air Force Common Admission Test.
You can enter in to Ground Duty Branch only through one entry,AFCAT is the name of the entry.
