Re: Which exams do I need to answer after mechanical engineering to join Indian AirForce? What are the physical requirements?

In order to join the flying branch of air force, you need to appear for CDS examination. While you are in final year or passed out your graduation. After passing it, you are called for interview. This is a permanent commission.

The other mode to join flying branch is through SSC and Fast track scheme. But these are for a duration of 10 years only. which can further be extended to 14 years only. So it is not permanent commission.

For flying, you need to have a good eye sight of 6/6, needs to be physically tough and mentally strong.

    Good luck

    Thank you
