    Is a final year engineering student eligible for Direct Entry Scheme of Air Force?

    can i apply for direct entry scheme in air force when i am in my final year of engineering..??.

    i want to apply in this branch.

    Hi Friend,
    IF you are in Final Year of yourengineering,you have a lot of opportunities to join Indain Air Force

    you can go for CDSE,AFCAT.
    You'll have to clear a written test and then the SSB and PABT
    if you have failed in PABT before sorry you cant join airforce as a flyingofficer.

    There are three posts for AFCAT,
    1 Flying Branch
    2 Technical Branch
    3 Ground Duty Branch

    AFCAT is a common admission test for a duration of two hours of 100 questions for 300 marks.3 marks for right and 1 mark deduction for each wrong answer.,it is a multiple choice question test having following sections:
    1 Verbal Ability
    2 Numerical Ability
    3 Reasoning
    4 General Awareness
    5 Aptitude

    Good thing is that you got to chose your trade.i.e.Flying,Technical or GroundDuty

    Indian air force Academy come under the exam-"CDSE."

    Combined Defence Services Exam is to get in to the Indian air force.
    The exam is conducted by the Union Public Service commission every year.
    To be eligible for:
    >>Indian air force Academy: you have to be a male unmarried candidate with 21 to 24 years of age and a graduate in any discipline of science with physics and maths as one of the main subjects in 12th.

    yes you can apply for the direct scheme which is
    UES(university entry scheme) only final year students can apply for this must be a engineering student age limit is 21 to 225 can apply but only unmarried.

    this is direct entry scheme for the engineering student.

    Hi,
    i want to inform you that there is no such direct entry scheme for indian air force.you will have to give the written exam of air force common admission test.

    As you are a final year engineering student you just go and fill the afact form which is released in month of january and july.
    You will go through a written exam and then through ssb interview.

    you are eligible for afcat an cds.

    Dear Friend,

    You can Apply for TES(Technical Entry Scheme ) in Air force only after Completing your B.tech Degree in Aeronautical(Electronics) & Aeronautical(Mechanical).However at this time there is no scheme for Final Year B.tech Students in Indian Air force.

    TES DETAILS

    Qualification's

    You should be a B.tech Graduate obtained a four year degree & securing 60% Marks in all papers put together
    OR
    You should have cleared the Section A & B Exams of Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers.
    OR
    You have cleared the section A & B Exam of Aeronautical Society of India

    Age Limit's
    Age should be in between 18 - 28 Years

    Marital Status
    Unmarried Male & Female

    If you want to join in any other branch of Air force other than Technical Department then you can apply in Flying & Ground Duty Branches also through AFCAT(Air force Common Admission Test)

    AFCAT Details

    For Flying Branch you need to be a graduate with 60% Aggregate Marks & Your Age should be in between 19-23 Years

    For Ground Duty Branch you need to be a Graduate with 60% Aggregate Marks & Your age should be in between 20-23 years.

    no you cant apply for direct entry scheme, you have to complete your final year of engineering and then apply for CDS examination
    and you should be 21-25yrs of age to be eligible to apply

    sorr friend there is no direct entry scheme available for u being in the final yr, wel u have to complete your degree without any backlogs and then u wil have to apply fr CDS examination conducted twice an yr by upsc

    your age should be 21-25yrs i order to apply fr CDS

    Yes you can apply for direct entry scheme, but at the time of interview you must have a four years degree with you.
    You can also go for AFCAT, CDS.

    hello friend you must complete your graduation to join Air force through A.F.C.A.T
    or else through N.D.A the age limit for it is 19 years only.
    all below 24 years old mens can eligible for C.D.A and A.F.C.A.T for join in air forces

    yes you can join AIR FORCE by writing in CDS or NDA exam...

    cds exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year...

    NDA examination is conducted for recruitment candidates into various
    defence service like :-

    --Indian Army

    --Indian Navy

    --Indian Air force

    To join in the NDA you need to fulfill the following eligibility Criteria :-

    Indian Army :-

    Age :- 16 1/2 - 19 years.

    Nationality :- You must be citizen of India.

    Hello my dear friend........

    yes of course you can join direct entry scheme

    being a final year student there are lots of opportunity for you

    in order to join Indian air force you can go for CDS

    CDS stands for combined defense service

    this exam is conducted by upsc twice a year

    the eligibility for CDS is:-

    you should be a citizen of india


    you should be free from any disease


    your eye sight should be 6/6 or 6/9


    you should have complete your graduation from recommended university


    your age should be in between 19-25


    your height should be in between 157cm


    you should be mentally physically strong
