    Guidance to join Indian Air force in Flying Branch?

    As of now i am in second year and doing B.Tech from computer science stream and want to join Indian Air force in flying branch.Please can anyone please guide me to fulfill my goal.

    Hello

    There are two ways through which you can join Air Force as a pilot.
    The entry are named as CDSE and AFCAT.Both are the entry for Air Force and will allow you to apply in flying branch of Air Force.

    Through CDSE and AFCAT you can apply for the flying branch in the Air Force.

    You can apply being in the fourth and final year of degree.

    A old notification of both CDSE and AFCAT is being uploaded,for your reference,you can study the notification for all your doubts to get cleared.

    As you are the computer science student then you will get the good position in the Indian Flying Branch, In order to join Indian Flying Branch you have to first clear CDS exam in order to clear this CDS exam you have to have minimum age limit of 19 years and also you have to clear Graduation from the recognized college this is the Basic requirement for the who want to apply for the CDS exam

    If you clear CDS exam you can have the opportunity to join the Indian Air force Flying branch. You can also join Indian Flying Branch by the AFCAT exam also AFCAT means Air force Common Entrance exam this exam also you can apply after the graduation. This exam is specially for the Indian Air force If you clear this AFCAT exam then you are eligible to join the Indian Air force different Branches

    Flying Branch
    Technical Branch
    Ground Duty

    Dear student first of all to join in Air Force Flying Branch you are to appear A F C A T(Air Force Common Admission Test)

    To Appear this Test you are to go through Flying Branch eligibility of AFCAT.In AFCAT there are 3(three) branches.

    each branch does not follow same AGE eligibility.The Branches are !.Technical, 2.Flying. 3. Ground durty branch.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR AIR FORCE FLYING BRANCH:

    1.Candidate must be a Graduate from the recognized University in any discipline having minimum 60% marks.


    2.The Candidate age must be within 19 years to 23 years.


    3.Candidate must be the citizen of India.

    4.Male/Female both can write A F C T.

    5.Candidates marital status must be single.

    Hi if you want to join the Indian air force then you can join through the following exams:-

    1.Through NDA exam:-

    For this you must have passed the 12th class from a recognized scholl or board and your age for the exam must lies in between 16.5-19 years.

    You must have Physics and Mathematics in 12th for joining the Air force .

    2.Through CDS exam:-

    You must have Bachelor degree in science and your age must lies in between 19-23 years.

    Dear Aspirant!

    You can join Indian Air Force through AFCAT Exam.

    AFCAT:- Air Force Common Admission Test

    AFCAT Exam is conducted twice in a year to recruit candidate in air force.

    Eligibility criteria for Air Force Flying branch:

    Applicant should be Graduate in any discipline must secured 60 percent marks in aggregate in graduation
    and should have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2/Intermediate level.

    Applicant age should be in between 19 to 23 years. Should be citizen of India.


    Physical Standard for Flying Branch:

    Minimum height for flying branch is 162.5 cms.

    Leg length should be between 99 cms and 120 cms.

    Max thigh length should be 64 Cms.

    Should have eye vision of 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 eye vision correctable to 6/6 only for hypermetropia.

    Applicant should not have Manifest Myopia.


    Important Date for AFCAT 2013 exam:

    Date of Notification: 10 December 2012 to 08 January 2013.

    Last Date for submission of Online applications: - 08 January 2013

    Date of AFCAT 2013: 24-02-2013

    In Final year of your Engineering , you can apply for the AFCAT exam , to join in FLYING BRANCH

    AFCAT - Airforce common admission test

    In general , the AFCAT exam includes 3 branches . Those are ,

    1) Technical branch

    2) Flying branch

    3) Ground duty branch




    Your age shouldbe in between 19-23 years , to join in Flying branch


    Flying branch includes ,

    (1) Fighters

    (2) Transports

    (3) Helicopters




    Exam Syllabus :-

    1) General Awareness - 25 Questions

    2) Verbal Ability in English - 25 Questions

    3) Numerical Ability - 25 Questions

    4) Reasoing and Military Aptitude Test - 25 Questions



    Each question carries 3 marks

    After completing B. Tech. you can join the Indian air force through UPSC CDS exam.

    CDS stands for the Combined Defense Service exam.

    To apply for this exam your age should be 19 to 25 years.

    You must have math and physics as compulsory subject in intermediate to go in air force branch.

    You must be the citizen of India.


    For the preparation of CDS exam you should study with NCERT books and reference books.

    You should read newspaper and magazine.

    You should also practice previous year question paper.

    If you want to Join indian airforce in Flying Branch than appear in the UPSC CDS exams.

    Education to apply to Indian Airforce is Graduation Pass with Physics and Mathematics as subjects in class 12th or BE/BTECH


    Age limit to apply for the AIR FORCE between 19- 23 years


    Physical requirements for the Indian Airforce


    Minimum height is 152 cms


    Leg Length-

    Minimum 99 cms

    Maximum 120 cms


    Thigh Length-64 cms


    Sitting Height-

    Minimum 81.5 cms

    Maximum -96 cms

    if you like to join in air force you can apply to AFCAT exam

    the candidate must be INDIAN

    the candidate must sorce minimum 60%

    the candidates must complete minimum graduation +2

    minimum height must 162.5 cm

    age must be 19 - 24 years

    your eye sight must be 6/6

    If You want To Join in Indian Air Force Flying Branch You Have Follow The Following Details

    You Should be Completed The Any Graduation from The Any Discipline University with 60% Marks and age Should be between 19-23 Years And One More Important News is You Should be Hold Commercial Pilot Licence Which is Issued By The DGCA And You Will Get Relaxation Period Upto 25 Years

    You can join the "Flying Branch" of Indian Air Force through AFCAT exam.

    Recently, the notification for AFCAT 02/2013 has been published. The desirable qualifications are the following.

    Age Limit - 19 yrs to 23 yrs.
    Educational qualification - Graduation from any recognized university
