Re: Height required to become Pilot in Indian Air Force?

    Hello my friend ,
For your kind information , I would like to tell you that the height criteria to join the Indian Air force as an cadre
differ on the basis of the Examination level that you are applying for .

For Ex-: The height eligibility criteria for the National Defence Academy Examinations
differ with any other Graduation defence Examination , such as AFCAT or CDS Examinations .

So if you are applying for the 10+2 level NDA Examinations to enter the
Indian Air Force services as an cadre than your height should match with the given below data .

    Capture.jpg

And if you are an graduate candidate of Indian and are applying for the Common defence Service ( CDS ) Examination
or the AFCAT ( Indian Air Force Common Admission Test ) Examination than your height must match the following criteria -:

    Capture2.jpg
But here the minimum height required to join the Indian Air Force as an cadre through the graduate examination
is correctly equal to 157.5 cms .

The CDS and the NDA Examinations are conducted by the UPSC Government .
They conduct this examination twice each year ,
but the NDA Examination are meant only for the unmarried male candidates of India of 10+level
while the CDS Examination is conducted for all the graduate candidates of India .

The AFCAT Examination is conducted by the Indian Air Force itself and they conduct this Examination only once a year .
This Examination too is conducted for all the graduate candidates of India .
through this Examination a candidate can enter in any branch of the Indian Air Force .
