    You can give the Assistant Commandant Exam or IAS exam conducted by UPSC.You just prepare for IAS exam the syllabus for Assistant COmmandant exam will automatically get prepared.

    Age :- 21 years should e completed .

    Selection procedure

    Entrance exam was conducted by the state police department and after selected candidate from exam they taken to oral test after that short listed candidate are taken to Medical examination then from that they will select the officer.

    Nice to see that you are Interested to Become IPS Officer, IPS Stands for Indian Police Service, To become IPS Officer you have to appear for UPSC Civil services examination and those who cracked this examination are eligible to become IPS Officer. The selection are based on written examination, Medical Test and Personal Interview.

    To become IPS Officer, you have to Possess a graduate degree in any discipline form a recognised University, Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for Civil services examination, This examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year in two Phases : Preliminary examination and Main examination.

    Firstly you have to cracked the Preliminary examination, Only then you are eligible to appear for Main examination. Preliminary examination is Objective type and there are 2 Papers in this examination and Both are of same marks and Duration. Main examination is Descriptive and you have to choose the Optional Subjects on the Basis of Graduation. The List of Optional subjects are availiable in the Notification, When they Released.

    But to become IPS Officer, you have to attained the age of 21 Years and Not attained the age of 30 Years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

    After the B.com you can appear for the various exams conducted by the UPSC

    you can appear for CI test. or other test like IPS exam. But this is for higher position like; DSP, DYSP etc.

    A B.com student will not get these post, only when you become a senior member you may be promoted to this position.

    For becoming an IPS officer,you need to take Civil Services Examination .
    The process includes Written Examination ,Medical Test and Personal Interview.
    1 The eligibility is to have graduation degree in any discipline.

    You should have passed 12th standard from State board or recognized school.For Indian Navy, Air Force- You must have passed 12th with Maths & Physics Subjects.

    After you have done your graduation you can apply for the state police department as well as army police like as indo tibeatian police force.
    for this your graduation could be done from a recognized university. and the minimum height required for this is 157cm.and candidate age should be from 21 to 25 years.for this police jobs you should be physically and mentally fit and free from nay disability.these olice exams are also carried out by the UPSClike as army exams. but the state police exam is taken by state police the procedure of that is .first of all the took written exam from candidate

    Hi aspirant, After completion of B. com you can give the exam for the police officer post. It is a liable job. In this job your loyalty should be with of public. Police officer have to work under pressure. You can go in police service through UPSC ,IPS or PSC. Both are the entrance exam for officer level post. Criteria for UPSC Age should be 21 – 30. 5 years relexation for SC/ST. Citizen of India Graduation from recognized university There are three exam in UPSC : preliminary, mains and interview. You will get b.com degree. police and b.com can not meet any where so as you like but after graduation many lines to join defence. You can join trough cds, state police, si and other exam.     To become a police officer you need to apply for civil service examination.
    To Apply for Civil Service Examination you must satisfy the eligibility criteria.

    ELIGIBILITY:-


    --The candidate should have a graduate degree from a Recognized university Or Equivalent Qualification.
    --Final year students can also apply.

    --The Age should between 21 - 30 yrs of age at the time of Appearing(general category).

    --For SC/ST - 35 years.
    --For OBC - 33 years.
    --For Ex-servicemen it is 5 years from the prescribed limits.

    Physical Standard :-

    The physical standard required for the IPS exam is given below:

    Height:
    Minimum height required for men is 165 cm
    Minimum height required for women is 150 cm
    There is a relaxation in height for SC/ST,OBC,Gorkhas, Garhwalias, Assamese, Kumaonis, Nagaland Tribals etc. candidates for men it is 160cm and for women it is 145 cm.

    EXAM PATTERN:-

    IPS Examination is conducted by UPSC Every year.

    The Examination consist of two parts : 1) Preliminary 2) Main

    Preliminary Examination consist of two papers.

    Both the papers of objective type and each paper consist of 200 marks.

    After completing preliminary Examination.you are qualify for Main Examination.

    Main Examination consist of nine papers and you must clear the all the of levels of Civil Service Examination.

    Number of attempts:-

    General candidates can attempts four times Only.
    OBC candidates can attempts seven times Only.
    No limit for SC/ST candidates.
