there are different ways to enter in airforce as pilot.
if your age is between 161/2 to 191/2 yrs and if you have taken science steam in your intermediate than you are eligible for the NDA enterence exam , through which you can join airforce as pilot.
or if your age is between 19-25 years and if you have done degree or in final year than you are eligible for CDS enterence exam were you can join airforce as pilot.
or if you have NCC 'C' certificate with A grade than also you are eligible for special entry in defence.

Re: How can I become a Pilot in Air Force?

    Hello,

Dear you haven't mentioned your qualification level, whether you have passed your 12th class or are you in Bachelor's degree. So its bit difficult to find out the pointed solution to your query. So i am telling you for both.

If you are in 12 class or completed this year, you can be an IAF pilot by appearing for NDA. This exam is to enter into armed forces after giving senior secondary exam. However at the time of filling form, you need to meet the eligibility criteria for the exam and age also.

However if you are in Bachelor's degree or have passed out, you can give CDSE, SSC, FTS to enter into IAF as a pilot.

However clearing the written exam does not ensure your berth in flying force. After that you need to appear for SSB interview (5 day procedure) and get into merit list for final selection.

For flying branch, you also need to give PABT. It is a lifetime test. If you clear it you need not to give it in the future again. However if someone fails, he can never be in the flying branch of IAF. However he can join the branches of IAF.

    Thank you

    hey ,

there are two entries for going into airforce.

first one is after 12th which is through NDA national defence academy.

Another one is after your graduation you can give the exam of CDS.

Now if you get selected in these written then you will get a call letter to attend the five days ssb rounds at the Airforce academy.after that you will undergo medical examination to check whether you are completely fit or not to join indian airforce.

To become a pilot in Airforce first you have to pass the 12th / graduation class with more then 60% marks. Then you can apply for the post of pilot but there is very less vacancy for the direct post of pilot. You can also come through the NDA, CDS exam and then got selected in Airforce and then apply.
The main thing required is your self-confidence, concentration, presence of mind.

Re: How can I become a Pilot in Air Force?

    dear friend...

you are in 12 class or completed this year, you can be an IAF pilot by appearing for NDA.

However he can join the branches of IAF

Re: How can I become a Pilot in Air Force?

There square measure alternative ways to enter in armed service as pilot.
if your age is between sixteen1/2 to 191/2 yrs and if you have got taken science steam in your intermediate than you're eligible for the NDA enterence examination , through that you'll be able to be a part of armed service as pilot.
or if your age is between 19-25 years and if you have got done degree or in final year than you're eligible for CDS enterence examination were you'll be able to be a part of armed service as pilot.
or if you have got NCC 'C' certificate with A grade than conjointly you're eligible for special entry in defence.
Dear you haven't mentioned your qualification level, whether or not you have got passed your twelfth category or square measure you in degree. therefore its bit tough to seek out out the pointed answer to your question. therefore i'm telling you for each.

If you're in twelve category or completed this year, you'll be able to be AN IAF pilot by showing for NDA. This examination is to enter into defense force when giving senior secondary examination. but at the time of filling kind, you would like to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the examination and age conjointly.

but if you're in degree or have passed out, you'll be able to provide CDSE, SSC, FTS to enter into IAF as a pilot.

but clearing the written examination doesn't guarantee your berth in flying force. subsequently you would like to seem for SSB interview (5 day procedure) and acquire into advantage list for final choice.

For flying branch, you furthermore mght got to provide PABT. it's a life check. If you clear it you would like to not provides it within the future once more.
your age is between 16.5-19.5years and if you have got taken science steam in your intermediate than you're eligible for the NDA enterence examination , through that you'll be able to be a part of armed service as pilot.or if your age is between 19-25 years and if you have got done degree or in final year than you're eligible for CDS enterence examination were you'll be able to be a part of armed service as pilot.or if you have got NCC 'C' certificate with A grade than conjointly you're eligible for special entry in defence. This examination is to enter into defense force when giving senior secondary examination. but at thetime of filling kind, you would like to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the examination and age conjointly.
The main issue needed is your confidence, concentration, presence of mind.To become a pilot in armed service 1st you have got to pass the twelfth / graduation category with additional then hr marks. Then you'll be able to apply for the post of pilot however there's terribly less vacancy for the direct post of pilot. you'll be able to conjointly return through the NDA, CDS examination and so got elite in armed service and so apply.
