To be a pilot you need to go for the NDA examination if you have the qualification 12th pass.
Because there is no scheme after the airmen to become a pilot so you need to go through the same procedure by which other go.
To apply for the NDA examination your age need to be 16.5 to 19 years of age.
Here is the eligibility criteria for the same.
    Educational qualification.
-10+2 in any stream for indian army.
-10+2 in physics and maths for indian air force and navy.
    Age limit.
    -16.5 years to 19 years.
    Selection procedure-
    -written test.
    -SSB interview.
    -medical test.
If you are graduate in physics and maths then you can apply for the CDS examination after the graduation.
Your age needs to be 19 to 23 years for the air force academy.
    Here is the criteria-
    Age limit.
-for Officers training academy 19 to 25 years of age.
-for indian millitary academy 19 to 24 years of age.
-for air force academy 19 to 23 years of age.
-for indian naval academy 19 to 22 years of age.
    selection procedure.
    -written test.
    -SSB interview.
    -medical examination.
