hiiii, if u want to join airforce technical then u have to fill up the Airforce common admission test(AFCAT) form.. there is also a ENGINEERS KNOWLEDGE TEST(EKT)...

there are many ways to enter Airforce technical branch.. there are fast track selections at various places of our country.. u will have to write an exam called Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT - for engineering graduates).. u will be called for SSB interview if u clear that particular exam.. or else u can also register for combined defence service examination conducted by union public service commission.. this will be held on feb-2012.. u can register for this exam during this month.. check out this website for notification and more details.. www.upsc.gov.in

to join the technical section of airforce, you can apply for cdse or group X exam. as per the criterias for IAF(indian airforce), you can apply for the various exams. there are availability of options as you can choose technical field if you want to go in that.

you can join airforce technical branch through many ways

After your 10+2 you can join as a trainee in engineering stream as mechanical ,electrical or electronics branch which is equivalent to diploma in civil. also you can join through b.tech or b.e in engineering or also after completion of b.tech in aeronautical engineering.

there are two types of entry in airfor technical group. one is officer category and the other one is air-man category . for officers category you have to either do mechanical or aeronoutical engg and then you can apply for tech scheme . and for air-man category you have to give airforce group "X" technical enterence exam , for this enterence exam you just have the qulification of +2 with science stream and a minimum of 55% in pcm.

if u r an engg student u can apply for UES in pre final year and TGC in final year and after graduation also.

If you have completed 12^th with PCM or graduation (B.Tech) then you are eligible to join the Airforce as a technical officer. After 12^th you can give the X group exam and after B.Tech you can give the CDS exam. The selection procedure in the Indian Airforce is written test, physical test, medical test, and interview and merit list. The most thing required to join the Indian Airforce as a technical branch is the knowledge of the technical things. If you have good knowledge of that thing there is more chance to select here.

If you want join in Indian Air force you must have completed intermediate .After completion of Intermediate you must have to write an examination of NDA(National defence academy).The age limit is 16.5 to 19 years.you have to secured 60% marks in Intermediate.This NDA exam is conducted by UPSC

In the Air Force, when you are treated by the specialist air force security MEPS, you will be assigned a code sensitive jobs (CMP), which determines your eligibility for certain jobs Air Force. All jobs requiring a Top Secret clearance, and jobs requiring higher standards of ethics, such as the security forces. Direct Entry Scheme :-

Those who are completed Aeronautical Engineering(Electronics) & Aeronautical Engineering(Mechanical) and you must secure at least 60% marks in their examination.

University Entry Scheme :-

Those who are pre-final year of B.E/B.Tech degree from a recognized University or equivalent and the candidates must secure at least 60% marks in their examination.There must be no arrears of paper at the time of appearing and male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.The candidate age should between 18 years and 28 years at the time of appearing and the candidate should be unmarried below the age of 25 years.

Note :- The notification will be published in the month of December & June in the employment news paper/Other news papers.

You can apply for IMA if you full fill basic eligibility criteria for IMA . You have appear for CDS Exam for IMA after graduation , You have to be graduate pass to become eligible for IMA .
