Re: How can I join Indian Air Force as a Fighter Pilot having completed BCA?

After BCA you cannot become a fighter pilot because BCA does not have physics and maths in the syllabus.
If you want to be a pilot in indian air force then you must have graduation with physics and maths or the other option to be a pilotis you must have completed class 12th with physics and maths and have graduation in any discipline with more than 60% marks aggregate.
If you have physics and maths in class 12th then you can apply for the flying branch of the indian air force with the graduation in any discipline with 60% aggregate marks.
All you need to do is apply for the AFCAT examination.
AFCAT stands for the air force common aptitude test.
This examination is conducted onece in a year, to apply for the flying branch you need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for the same and these are as folows-
Your age needs to be 19 to 23 years.
You must be indian by nationality.
Qualification as i have mentioned above.
You should not have any criminal records.

You can get into flying branch only if You have Physics and Maths at 12th level. You can then after BCA apply for CDS in AFA or you can apply for AFCAT after BCA if you have over 60% marks aggregate in Graduation. For CDS age limit is 19-23years for AFA.For AFCAT,age limit for Flying Branch is 20-23years.Both the exams are conducted twice ayear.
For CDS-AFA,only males are allowed whereas for AFCAT Flying Branch both Males and Females are allowed. There are certain physical Standard and medical standard to be selected after the written exam.
You should check the website of Air force for AFCAT details at www.careerairforce.nic.in
OR check website of UPSC for CDS exam at upsc.gov.in

    Hello

YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS TO JOIN INDIAN AIR FORCE IN FLYING BRANCH.

Now you must be aware of a fact that the educational qualification required for applying in flying branch is
graduation from any stream but with physics and maths in 10+2.

It is really required that whatever your stream be in graduation, you must have physics and maths in 10+2.
So if you had physics and maths in 10+2.

    Then there are two entries
CDSE-Combined Defence Service Examination and AFCAT-Air Force Common Admission Test.
The educational qualification in both the entries is same as mentioned above, only difference is that for CDSE there is no percentage issue where as for AFCAT you must have 60% in graduation.

Age limit is 19 to 23 years(at the time of commencement of course, not at time of applying) for both.

    Hello

To join as a pilot in Indian Air Force you need to have a CPL i.e Commercial Pilot License which has been approved by DGCA.
After having a CPL you have to clear AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Admission Test.
After clearing AFCAT their is a sequence of tests to be cleared up for which you are informed later by IAF.

Friend, as you have expressed your desire to join Airforce as Fighter Pilot. For this, you should apply for FLYING BRANCH of Airforce through AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test). Generally, AFCAT is conducted two times in a year by Airforce. For Flying branch, candidate is required to be graduated in any stream. The age of the candidate should lie between 19 years to 23 years. The recruitment process includes written examination as its first stage, second stage is SSB interview which include PABT (PILOT BATTERY APTITUDE TEST), and third & final stage is medical examination of the candidate.
