Friend, as per your qualification, you can apply for all the three wings of defence forces. Candidate with PCM stream is eligible for army, navy as well as airforce. Your NCC certificate will helps you at the time of SSB Interview. In the event of tie between more than one candidates, the candidate with NCC certificate and older in age gets preference. So the importance of the NCC certificate cannot be overruled under any circumstances. But note that alone NCC certificate cannot guaranteed your success in the examination. You need to put your cent percent effort, severe hard work, proper planning, etc. You must take the help of seniors, experts and quality study material if available.

The NCC certificate is useful only if you are trying to join defence after graduation. But at the intermediate level,it is not of that importance.NCC certificate will put you ahead of others, will never help you in any way for admission in NDA.

If you would have applied after completing graduation, then definitely it would have been helpful,as you would have been exempted from the entrance exam and directly can seat for SSB interview.
