Hello Sakhti_anand
I am sorry to say but you are looking extremely forward although I appreciate it but you should appear in national Defence Exam which you can give now i.e. after your 12th standard if your age is also lying under the limit i.e. 16.5 years to 19 years . AFCAT is the exam for engineering students and conducted in twice a year . If you are going for engineering I would suggest you to concentrate on your technical subjects and when in 6th sem you should start preparing for AFCAT that would give you the right opportunity . Before that you would not be eligible in appearing the test . While going keep your GK and english good which will help you in your exam .you may consider some good books available in the market like Arihant . But I should tell you that make a restrict time on AFCAT other wise you may loose marks in your technical subjects .
hope the information was useful. Please feel free to ask further.
Thank you
