    How can a Physiotherapist join Air Force?

    a physiotherapist how to join any force?...could u please tell me the procedure

    Physiotherapist students do not have any special entry into Armed forces. The defence services exam is held twice a year. Notification for the exam comes in March and August and the exam is conducted in February and August. These are tentative dates that may change.     My dear friend
    Yes you can join in Indian air force.But here what the procedure follow to all candidates same as applicable for you.There is no special Join entry.So if you want join in Indian Air force you should have to write an entrance examination of CDS(Combined defence service) examination.This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.The age limit for this exam is 19-25 years.The physical Criteria is Height is 157 cms for males and 152 cms for females and chest for females is 80 cms expanshion is 5 cms and for females is 70 cms expansion is 5 cms and eye sight is 6/6 for good eye and 6/12 is worst eye.

    As a Physiotherapist , you can apply for the CDS exam to join in Airforce

    CDS exam details :-
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    This is an exam which will conducts by UPSC 2 times in every year

    To apply for the CDS exam ,

    ~ One should have completed GRADUATION from a recognised university
    ~ For ARMY , Age shouldbe in between 19-24 years
    ~ For AIRFORCE , Age shouldbe in between 19-23 years
    ~ For NAVY , Age shouldbe in between 19-22 years
    ~ The candidate shouldbe a citizen of India



    Selection process :-
    ------------------------


    1) Written exam

    2) Interview

    3) Medical Test



    Exam Syllabus :-
    ---------------------

    1) General knowledge =100 marks

    2) General english = 100 marks

    3) Elementary maths = 100 marks
