    Yes you are eligible with Computer Science. You can sit for the CDS and AFCAT Exams which are held twice a year.
    To be eligible for AFCAT you need to have secured 60% marks in your graduation.
    After the written exams, successful candidates are called up for Interview, known as the SSB.
    The Next CDS forms will be out in May do check them out and apply accordingly.

    Hello

    A engineering degree has great value when it comes to professional market,it is one of the or arguably the best technical bachelor degree.You have many chances and opportunities for applying in Air Force with the engineering degree in computer science.

    There are usually three branches of Air Force.
    1)Flying branch 2)Technical branch 3)Ground duty branch.

    The educational qualification required for flying branch is graduation from any stream but with physics and maths in 10+2.
    The educational qualification required for technical branch is a engineering degree but mostly of electronics stream.
    The educational qualification required for ground duty branch is graduation from any stream.

    Now you can apply for all three branches through a entrance called AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test) and there is one entry named as CDSE(Combined Defence Service Examination)-that allows you to apply for only flying branch.

    For more details visit the website of air force
    www.careerairforce.nic.in

    Also a old notification of AFCAT and CDSE is being uploaded for your reference.

    There is no need to worry about your Branch which you have taken in your B.tech . CSE is a Good branch . But , the important point you should remember is , CSE candidates are not eligible for the TECHNICAL BRANCH in Airforce .

    The candidates who have taken ECE or Mechanical branch in B.tech are only eligible to join in Technical branch .

    Nevertheless , you can join either in FLYING BRANCH or in GROUND DUTY branch .

    In Final year , you can apply for the AFCAT exam .

    AFCAT = Airforce Common Admission Test

    The exam will have 3 branches .

    (1) Technical Branch (for the Mechanical , ECE branch candidates)

    (2) Flying Branch

    (3) Ground Duty Branch

    ~~ For the Flying branch , age shouldbe in between 19-23 years .

    Flying branch includes ,

    * Fighters

    * Helicopters

    * Transports

    ~~ For the Ground duty Branch , age shouldbe in between 20-23 years

    Ground duty branch includes ,

    * Administration

    * logistics

    * Meterology

    * Education

    * Accounts
