    How to get a job in Indian Air Force as a Pilot? What is the criteria and percentage?

    My question is all about ,how to get a job in Indian air force as a PILOT.For a computer science engineer forth year student who is in 7th semester of 8 semester
    degree ,and what is the criteria : age ,percentage etc .and the procedure to get into it (entrance exam ? or their is some other criteria ?.

    hi..you can get into the air force as an flying officer through three schemes namely
    1.COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES:
    19 to 23 years age single male Indian national having an graduate engineering degree ,final year candidates without any back logs are eligible to apply and there is no marks bar
    2.NATION CADET CORPS SPECIAL ENTRY:
    19 to 23 years of Indian single male is eligible to give this entrance examination .also should be na graduate from any discipline and have maths and physics in 10+2 and also having minimum 0f 60% marks in graduation
    3.FLYING PILOT SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION:
    this is applicable for both men and female ,age should be 19 to 23 years for general candidates and maximum is 25 years for people having pilot license issued by the director general of civil aviation and also should be an graduate having 60% marks in graduation with maths and physics in 10+2

    Yes,,of course you can serve as PILOT IN IN DIAN AIR FORCE .You can apply for following exams to get into air force such as:
    PABT(Pilot aptitude battery test)
    AFCAT(Air force common admission test)

    PABT
    This test is to check basically the nerve testing,meter reading and immergency tackling capibilities of a person.
    The test is organises by UPSC
    You can take the exam only once.

    Through this exam you can apply for Flying officer in air force
    Age should be 19-23 years

    you can get a job in defence after qualifying CDS or NDA
    COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES:
    :single male Indian national.
    :age should be between19 to 23 years
    :should have an engineering degree.

    Yes,You can get job as a Pilot in Indian Air Force after completing Engineering graduation.As your in Final semester of engineering course then you are eligible to apply for Pilot entry examination.Pilot is one of the good field and a dare decision too.There is lot of requirement available for Pilots.Almost all the companies are in huge need for Pilots.Pilots are receiving huge packages in various Air Ways.Private Air Ways is suffering with Pilots,So they are importing pilots from foreign countries with huge packages.So If you get qualify in the entrance examination then you will be having chance to get opportunity as a pilot very easily.You can get opportunities in the foreign companies also.But You have to qualify Entrance exams.Two kinds of entry are available for Pilot Positions.They are;


    1.NCC special Entry
    2.Flying Pilot Entry


    Flying Pilot Entry:


    >>You should be completed your B.Tech/B.E with at least 60% of marks from recognized university.Your age should be between 19 years to 23 years.Unmarried Male and Female candidates are also eligible to apply for thsi examination.


    NCC Special Entry:

    >>You must be completed your graduation with Engineering Degree with at least 60% of marks from recognized university and Your age should be between 19 years to 23 years. Unmarried Male candidates are also eligible for this position.


    If you are having above eligibility criteria then you can apply for this position entrance exams.Once you qualify in this test then you will be having chance to get job as a Pilot.They will give some training on Pilot activities.Later they will appoint you as pilot.

    Dear

    By appearing PABT, UES, AFCAT, CDS exams, you can join in the air force to work as a pilot. But to join in the air force you should have taken engineering as your graduation. i e. if you are an B.Tech student you can appear for this exam.

    Yes you are eligible to join in Indian Navy after passing MCA.
    So if you want join in Indian Navy you should have given an entrance examination of CDS(combined defence service).This examination is conducting by Union Public Service Commission Two times in a year.Your age is between 19-24 years.So you should have given CDS Exam to join in Indian Navy.
    Syllabus for CDS Examination: The following are the syllabus for CDS Examination.
    1.General Knowledge.
    2.General English.

    yes, my friend you can apply for Indian Air force after completion of Graduation /engineering.

    For getting into Indian Air force you have to appear in AFCAT exam..

    AFCAT exam is conducted by Indian Air force it self..

    Through this exam you join in different sector of Air force.

    Eligibility for AFCAT exam:-

    1.Ground duty branch:-

    Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..
    Candidates age should be in between 20-27 years.

    2.Flying branch:-

    Candidate can complete the graduation in any trade but must have had maths and physics in 12th..
    Candidates age should be in between 19-23 years.

    3.Technical branch:-

    Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field.
    Candidates age should be in between 18-28 years.

    So, go for AFCAT exam...

    If you are looking for a core job in Indian Air Force then you should apply through

    Direct Entry Scheme in the technical branch of IAF.

    The advertisement for this entrance examination is published in January and July
    in Employment news.

    Age Limit:
    18-28 years
    Note - Candidates below the age of 25 years should be Unmarried.

    Educational Qualification:
    You should have a degree in engineering and should have studied at least
    eight subjects from the 18 subjects mentioned below.

    (1) Physics / Engineering Physics.
    (2) Mathematics / Engineering Mathematics.
    (3) Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing.
    (4) Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology.
    (5) Control Engineering.
    (6) Microprocessors.
    (7) Digital Electronics / Basic Electronics.
    (8) Computer Networks.

    In Computer Science and Engineering branch you would surely have studied 8 subjects

    Indian Air force :-

    The applicant must have a completed graduate degree with any desire subject from a recognized University and the applicant must secure at least 60% aggregate marks in their examination and the candidate must have a physics and mathematics at 12th examination.The applicant who are completed engineering may also eligible to apply for
    flying(pilot) branch examination.

    The applicant must have a completed B.E/B.Tech from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and the applicant must secure at least 60% aggregate marks in their examination.Those in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for Indian Air force examination and the candidate must have min 60% marks in their examination.Pre-final year of degree course may not eligible to apply for flying branch examination.

    There is no backlogs at the time of appearing for this examination if you have any backlogs then you are not eligible to apply for flying branch examination.

    The candidate must have attained the age of 19 years and must not have attained the age of 23 years and Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed upto 25 yeras.

    Unmarried candidates are eligible to apply for Flying Branch examination(Both Men and Women candidates are eligible).

    The notification will be publish in the month of December and June.

    It is a good thing that youngsters such as yourself want to join the IAF and serve the nation.
    I'd be most happy to provide you the details regarding the same.

    As you are a student of class 12 then you are eligible to join the Indian Air force by giving the NDA(National Defence Academy) Exams.
    Details as under:

    *The NDA reserves 66 seats for IAF aspirants.
    *The NDA exam is held twice a year-
    NDA-I is conducted in April.
    NDA-II is conducted in October.

    Eligibility:

    1.Age Limit:
    Between 16.5 years and 19 years
    You must be Born Between 2nd Jan to 1st Jul for Dec Course and 2nd Jul
    to 1st Jan for Jul Course.

    2.Physical Standards:
    Height:
    *Minimum Acceptable height is 157.6 cms.

    3.Educational Qualification:
    You must be studying in class 12 or have passed the same of 10+2 System of Education or Equivalent with Physics and Maths as your subjects and at least 60% marks in physics and maths for Air Force.

    4.Marital Status:
    You must be Un-Married

    NOTE:

    *Application to be Received by : 10-15 Nov for Jan Course and 10-15 Apr for July Course

    *Likely Dates Of SSB : Sep to Oct and Jan to Apr

    To get a job in Indian Airforce as a Pilot you are to go through N.D.A of UPSC.N.D.A stands for National Defence Academy.This is an Entrance examination conducted by UPSC twice a year.The requirements are as under.

    1.A 12th standard with pcm subjects have to write N.D.A.

    2.The age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.

    3.candidate must be an unmarried male citizen of India.

    4.His eye sight must be normal 6''/6'' and height not less then 157cms.

    5.Candidate must be free from color blind and night blind.

    After clearing written/physical/medical tests to be selected for ssb training.

    Finally to join as air force pilot a special interview is done.

    TO GET THE JOB IN INDIAN AIR FORCE AS PILOT A CANDIDATE MUST GO THROUGH UNDER MENTIONED POINTS.

    Sure! you can enter in the Indian Air force area for this You must clear the CDSE exam this exam is conducted for those candidates who are studying in the graduation and want to job in the Indian Air force area

    The CDSE exam is conducted by the upsc government ,The candidates who are in the third and final year are eligible to write this exam this exam is usually gives the entry for the Indian Airforce area

    If you clear the CDSE exam then you will get the job of the technical as well as fighter pilot job

    For this you have to clear the some of the Eligibility conditions ,For the CDSE exam you must full fill these conditions then only you will get the job or entry for the CDSE exam

    *The aspirants should be graduate from the recognized college
    *The aspirant have the age limit in the range of 21-24 years
    *You should be Indian citizen or Nepal or Bhutan
    *You must scored the minimum 70% in the aggregate of the all tests

    All these conditions are compulsory for the entry for the CDSE exam you must ful fill these conditions then only you will get the job

    Apart from this you must have also other physical conditions like
    Height -157 cm minimum
    for Girls-152cm

    Weight-correleated
    Eyesight-normal

    You can give a NDA exam after complete 12th and or equivalent than apply for NDA exam

    and than after crack exam you get a defence sector job .NDA has a 3 wings are Air force,

    Navy and Army.You can give a Twice in a year NDA exam.NDA stand for National defence

    Academy.NDA exam is conducted by UPSC. First you clear Written exam and than medical

    and than last stage Interview.

    Eligibility criteria :-

    @@ Minimum qualification is 12th apply for defence job.

    @@ Your age limit should be 16.5 to 19 years.

    @@ You must be Indian citizenship.

    @@ You must be unmarried candidate.

    @@ You must be fit physical and mental .
