As an engineering you will get ample opportunity to join Indian army.
    The various entry points are:

    1. Through UES Entry- This entry is the best option you have got.It consist of a preliminary interviews in your third year, followed by a SSB later. If you get selected you be commissioned in army with one year seniority.Training is held either in IMA or OTA.
    2. Through TGC Entry- This is similar to UES ,the difference is that, you will give it either in final year or after graduation. This entry comes out twice an year.Once you fill the form, you will be directly called for SSB if shortlisted. This entry also gives one year seniority and you will be commissioned in one of the technical arms.Training is held either in IMA or OTA.
    3. Through CDS Entry- you have the option to go through this entry in your final year and after graduation. It is conducted by UPSC.It also comes out twice an year.In this you have to give an objective preliminary exam and if selected it is followed by SSB.Training will be at IMA or OTA according to your choice and your performance in examinations. No seniority is provided in this enrty.
