See , if you have taken Maths as One of your Main subjects in 12th , then it will be better to you . Along with Maths , if you have taken Physics , Chemistry , then you can even join in Airforce or in NAVY.

In general , the candidates who have completed 12th irrespective of the Course , can join in ARMY Wings through nda exam .

So, PCM subjects will be very helpful to join in Defence services .

Friend, mathematics is not compulsory needed for NDA Examination. If you do not have mathematics subjects in 10+2 leven, then even you can apply for NDA Examination. But if you have mathematics subject in 10+2 level, then it will helps you apply for Airforce & Navy wing in NDA Examination.Mathematics section share almost one-fourth marks in the written examination. As mathematical section of written examination consists of 300 marks. We cannot ignore this section. Candidate compulsorily have to qualify this mathematical section with fixed minimum qualifying marks in order to qualify the written examination of NDA Examination. As large number of candidate unable to perform well in mathematical section due to lack of practice. Only regular & daily practice makes you perfect in this subject. Only hard work is the key to success. You must take the help of following books:# Quantitative Aptitude by R.S. My dear,
Math is compulsary subject to crack NDA.
Without Math you can not crake NDA exam because NDA exam is collected in two sitting.
First sitting two and half hour in which 120 question asked by only Math.
Second sitting two and half hour in which 150 question asked by General knowledge and English.

Then you could estimate how Math is important for NDA.With out Math you can not do good score in NDA exam.
