    Hi,C'mon hurry up.You need to give CDS exam in order to get into defence services.But you have very few attempts.So don't waste time,and go for next exam.

    Details of Indian Air Force after completing Mechanical Engineering :-
    Indian Air Force is a top level defence sector service in India and career in this field is high as compare of all other field in Defence.Through the major activities in the flying specialised aircraft field.You can also apply for other duties like Aeronautical,Electronics and Computer Engineering.

    There are basically three branches to join in the Indian Air Force as a officer which are flying branch are responsible for flying and controlling fighter aircraft.It also consist the pilot which help the advance avionic equipment.

    Officer in the ground duties provide educational,logistic and administrative support and officer in the technical branch are responsible for all technical and engineering aspects.

    If you are interested in Flying branch then 10+2 and graduate candidates are eligible to join Indian Air Force but in case of Technical branch only bachelor degree in engineering candidates are eligible.Selection in all three branches are quit difficult. It involves written test,practice test and pyschological tests.

    After clearing all test then some changes to get into Indian Air Force department.If you belonging to mechanical branch then required to attempt technical branch and Indian Air Force provide excellent opportunities for mechanical stream candidates.

    My dear friend
    If you want join in Indian Air force the following is the procedure
    1.Written Examination
    2.Personal Interview
    3.Medical examination
    1.Written Examination: So first one is you should have to give or write an entrance examination of CDS which is conducted by UPSC two times in a year.The age limit for this examination is 19-25 years
    Syllabus for CDS Exam:
    1.General Knowledge
    2.General English
    3.Elementary Maths
    Personal Interview: The second one is the personal Interview.This is conducting by SSB for short listed candidates in written examination
    Medical Examination: This is last but not least .This is for short Listed candidates in personal Interview which is conducted by SMB

    Dear
    You can join Indian Air force completing the Mechanical engineering by appearing the CDS entrance exam which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
    After the CDS exam you will be called for an interview called- SSB interview.
    If you get a mark of 60 % for your graduation you can apply for the exam.

    You can also join defence through Common Defence Service and Service Selection Board examination.




    Educational Qualification :-




    Minimum educational qualification to join defence is B.Sc or M.Sc in IT field.You need to complete degree from recognized University with Physics and Mathematics subjects.




    Age Limit criteria :-




    Your age limit should not be more than 24 years and must have citizen of India.

    After engineering, you can join the air force through various entries-

    1) CDS examination to get into armed force-permanent commission

    2) SSC o get into flying branch-short service

    3) CET-for ground duty

    4) EKT-to get into technical branch

    5) AFCAT-air force common aptitude test

    So you can choose according to your interest

    Definitely...you can join Indian Air Force after Passing degree in Mechanical Engineering.

    To join It you need to appear in CDS Examination conducted by UPSC every year.

    CDS stands for Combined Defence Service.

    For CDS your Age should be in between 19 to 23 years.

    You should be Unmarried Male.

    You should be citizen of India.

    Yes You are Eligible to Join in Indian Air force.The following are the Exam Details.

    UES-----------University Entry Scheme.
    CDS-----------Combined Defence Service.
    AFCAT---------Air force Common Admission Test.

    UES------University Entry Scheme.
    For This Exam All Males and Females are Eligible and And for This All Final Year Graduates are Eligible and Age Should be between 21-27 Years.

    CDS----Combined Defence Service:- For This Examination All Males and Females are Eligible.And This Examination is conducting by The Union Public Service commission two times in a Every Year.For This Examination Should be Unmarried and Indians are Eligible and Should be Done Graduation from The Any Discipline University and Age Should be between 19-23 years.

    About The AFCAT:-AFCAT Means Air force Common Admission Test.This Is The Exclusive Exam To Join Indian Air force.And This Exam Includes Three Branches and For The All Branches Should be Done Graduation from The Any Discipline University with the 60% Marks and Age Details as Under.
    For Technical Branch:-18-28 Years.
    For Flying Branch:-19-23 Years.

    After completion of Mechncial Engineering , you can apply for Different Entrance exams to join AIRFORCE


    1) You can apply for the AFCAT exam to join Airforce

    AFCAT - Airforce Common Admission Test

    The AFCAT exam is Having 3 branches
    Those are ,

    ~ FLYING BRANCH

    ~ GROUND DUTY BRANCH

    ~ TECHNICAL BRANCH



    The GROUND DUTY Branch inlcudes ,
    --->> Administration
    --->> Logistcis
    --->> Meterological



    Age Criteria : -

    Technical Branch : -

    For the Techncial Branch , Age should be between 18-28 years

    Ground duty Branch : -

    For the Ground duty Branch , Age should be between 20-23 years


    Flying Branch : -

    For the Flying Branch , Age should be bewteen 19-23 years





    Exam Syllabus : -

    1) General Awareness - 75 Marks (25 Quesitons)
    2) General English - 75 Marks (25 Questions)
