    How to write AFCAT examination?

    Sir, i am a student of 12th science. I have taken pcm + cs as subjects. Please give me the details about how to write AFCAT Exam?

    AFCAT Air force Common Entrance Exam

    This exam is conducted for the Graduates who want to join the Indian Air force different Branches like Flying Branch, Technical Branch, and Ground Duties

    Eligibility for the AFCAT Exam

    Flying Branch

    Age limit 19-23 years
    NOTE- The candidates ho have the current Commercial Pilot License then such candidates have maximum age limit of 25 years

    Education Qualification The candidates have to complete Graduation in B.E/ B>tech from the Recognized college or university with Minimum aggregate of 60% and also you have to clear Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics

    Physical Fitness
    Height minimum 162.5 cm
    Weight Correlates with Height
    Leg length minimum 90 cm and maximum 120 cm
    Thigh Length 64 cm
    Sitting height minimum 1.5 cm

    Technical Branch

    Age limit 18-28 years

    In the Technical Branch there are two different divisions

    ** Aeronautical Engineer ( Electronics)
    ** Aeronautical Engineer ( Mechanical)

    Education Qualification- The candidates have to complete Graduation in B.E/ B>tech from the Recognized college or university with Minimum aggregate of 60% and also you have to clear Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics

    UES Entry for the year 2014
    Age limit 18-28 years
    It is on 1-7-2014


    Physical Fitness
    Height minimum 157.5 cm
    Weight correlates with Height

    Ground Duties

    Age limit
    =>For Graduates 20-23 years
    For Post Graduates- 20-25 years
    For M.ed / Phd 20 27 years
    For LLB 20-26 years

    You have the different branches in the Ground Duty

    * Administration Branch
    * Accountant
    * Education

    AFCAT exam Details


    AFCAT - Airforce common admission test


    The exam is to join in Airforce . It includes 3 branches which are given below

    (1) Technical branch
    (2) Flying branch
    (3) Ground duty branch



    To apply for the AFCAT exam , one should have completed Graduation from any Recogised university .The candidates who are in Engineering Final year can also apply for the Exam .

    For the Technical branch , age shouldbe in between 18-28 years
    To apply for the Technical branch , you shouldhave taken either Mechanical or ECE in B.TECH


    For the Flying branch , age shouldbe in between 19-23 years

    It includes ,

    ~ Fighters
    ~ Helicopters
    ~ Transports




    For the Ground duty branch , age shouldbe in between 20-23 years

    It includes ,

    ~ Administration
    ~ Logistics
    ~ Meterology
    ~ Education
    ~ Accounting




    So, after Graduation you can apply for the AFCAT exam .

    AFCAT stands for the Air Force Common Admission Test

    To apply for the AFCAT exam you should have the following eligibilities:

    You should be graduated with minimum 60 % marks.

    You must have math and physics as compulsory subject in order to join Flying branch of air force.

    Age should be 19 to 28 years.

    You must be the citizen of India.

    If you satisfy the above criteria you can apply for the AFCAT exam.

    Application form can be filled in online mode at Air force website.

    Hello

    AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test and is a entry for graduates in air force.It is a entry scheme for graduates.Hence you can not apply for air force through AFCAT as of now.

    But there is a special entry in air force for the intermediate passed candidates,it is NDA(National Defence Academy).
    It is a entry for intermediate candidates,only.It allows to apply for all three wings of defence air force,navy and army.

    The eligibility criteria for applying in NDA is
    1)The candidate must have completed 10+2 with physics and maths for applying in navy and air force and with any stream for army.
    2)Age limit is 16.5 to 19 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying).
    3)Only unmarried male candidates are applicable.

    AFCAT stands for the Air Force Common Admission Test.

    AFCAT exam is directly conducted by the Indian Air force for the recruitment of candidates in following three branches:

    Ground Duty

    Technical Duty

    Flying Duty



    To apply for the AFCAT exam you must have the graduation degree with 60 % marks.

    You must have math and physics as compulsory subject if you want to join the naval or air force academy.

    your age should be 18 to 28 years for technical duty, 20 to 27 years for ground duty and 19 to 23 years for the air force duty.

    No age relaxation is applicable.

    You must be the citizen of India.
