Re: Indian Air Force after HSC in commerce?

    Hello

NO YOU CAN NOT JOIN INDIAN AIR FORCE AFTER HSC EXAM WITH COMMERCE STREAM.
Intermediate candidates can join Indian Air Force, but there is only one way through which they can join Indian Air Force. After completing intermediate,NDA(National Defence Academy) is the only option for them to apply for Indian Air Force. In fact NDA is the specialized entry for all three wings of defence, simultaneously.

The eligibility criteria for applying in NDA is
1)The candidates must have completed intermediate that is 10+2 or should be studying in final year of class 11.
2)The candidates must have physics and maths in 10+2 for applying in Air Force and Navy while any stream is applicable for army.
3)No percentage is required for NDA.
    4)Only male candidates are applicable.

Now,the point is that it requires to have physics and maths in 10+2 to apply for Indian Air Force. As you belonged to commerce stream, there is no other options for, although you are eligible for army wing.

After you complete graduation, you will be eligible for applying in Air Force.

    Sorry Friend,
You cannot apply for Indian Air Force after Hsc in commerce.

After Hsc the only way to get into defense is through NDA but since you are from commerce you can apply for Army only.

For Air Force you need to have PCM in 12th standard.

You can apply for Air Force after graduation being from the Commerce stream also.

You can apply for AFCAT Ground Duty Branch.

AFACT is Air Force Admission Common Test.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR GROUND DUTY BRANCH:-

    ><Should have a graduation degree in any stream.

    ><Should be Indian citizen.

    ><Age of the candidates should be 19-27years.

    ><Both male and female candidates are allowed.

    ><Should be physically fit.

The notifications is published during the month of December every year.

Thus you should complete your graduation the apply for AFCAT/CDS.

here I have attached the notification for this year.

Actually you need to have pcm as compulsory subjects till class 12th to join Air Force through NDA exam after 12th. But you can join IAF (Indian Air Force) after graduation in any stream. So according to me, carry on your further studies to be a graduate and try by giving various tests conducted by UPSC every year.
